Binny's Beverage Depot - Peoria — Attraction in Peoria

Please note that I really like this store. I was even telling the guy at the cash register this just prior to him accidentally pushing my box full of wine and other goodies into the 6 pack of beer that landed on my feet. All 6 broke covering my new shoes and me with the nice aroma of Hefeweizen. Glass and beer everywhere. Thanks for the paper towels and for retrieving a replacement 6 pack. I am wondering if the rest of the employees know that it wasn’t me who dropped it. I guess I became a little concerned that even though they apologized, nothing else was done to help with the situation. I drove an hour home soaked and smelling like the beer. Even had to pull out a few slivers of glass out of my leg. Unfortunately they had no idea what to do for the customer service recovery in that situation. What would make that right? I don’t know but maybe another 6 pack or a coupon for $5 off my next visit. Keep up the good work, the nice selection and great prices, but hopefully you can learn from this experience.

I go into binnys all the time and I usually have no problems but today was a horrible experience for me. I am in the military and after work I stopped to grab some beer (In uniform) and after my purchase the security guard walked outside and flagged me down to come back and was questioning me about buying alcohol in my uniform after I walked passed and told him I wasn’t on duty when he asked. If I want to buy in my uniform, I will. There is no regulation or rule in the UCMJ against purchasing alcohol in uniform. I work long shifts and do A lot for this country the last thing I need after a long day is being harassed and asking to come back to talk to some random dude who think he’s knows it all about the service. I called the store and asked for a manager but he didn’t ask for my name or any follow up information and said he would let corporate know not sure if it’ll do anything but I don’t appreciate this...

I called early today while at work. to see if they had Barefoot Red Moscato wine. I talked to Caitlin, and she told me that they had 11 bottles left of the 1.5L size, at $4.99 each. I asked if that was a sale price, and she said it was the regular price, and she'd hold them for me. I said 'are you sure $4.99 is the price?' and she said it was. I asked her to hold 8 bottles, and I'd be there by 4:00. When I arrived, they proceeded to give me the .75L size for $4.99 each. I explained my phone conversation with their register worker, and basically nothing was done. I grudgingly purchased the wine. I then talked to the manager near the front door and he looked at me with a blank face and offered me nothing to rectify the situation. This is only the 2nd time I've shopped there, and I WILL NEVER SHOP...
