I think I like the Riverfront as a venue. It is plenty big and it has a nice view of the river. The concerts I've seen here sound okay for an outdoor venue (though not sure how much that is actually due to the venue and not the production.) There is PLENTY of parking within walking distance. The only real issue is the large interstate highway that crosses RIGHT over it. Passing trucks can be quite loud and disruptive. We enjoyed walking the riverfront on our way into the concert, and parking wasn’t too hard to find. We might even make a non-concert trip back to Peoria in the future just to explore more.
