My first time coming here and brought my kids. I tell the gentlemen attending me it was my first time here and wanted create my own. I saw on the sign it included 4 toppings and it was 9.99+ tax. No problem, I get it. The gentlemen tells me I have 4 toppings. Ok… I ended up getting parmesan cheese, 1 egg, chicken, mushrooms, and the brownest avacado that did NOT look healthy… very digusting.. but I bit the bullet and said no problem. I also realize I’m probably going to pay extra for the extra topping I got… again no problem
The manager I assume talks to the person who was attending me and she tells him that all the toppings I got were extra and I didn’t grab any of the free toppings. She looks at me and tells me that I could grab some of the free toppings, up to 4. So I look around and see a small sign that has the pricing of all the toppings and I realize that the basic salad I created at that point was approaching north of 20 dollars. This sign was in the middle of the make line and in small print. Unless you want to hold up the line you are not going to sit there and read everything. So the free toppings included cucumbers, shaved apples, croutons? The lady said I could “start over” if I wanted to.
If I wanted to buy a 20 dollar salad with basic toppings and some chicken I could find that at any high end restaurant, it would be cheaper, and the ingredients would be fresh, not brown/mushed avacados. I walked out with my kids, first time in my entire life I ever walked out of a restaurant. Disgusting… If you enjoy getting ripped off come here otherwise there are other salad places nearby within 5 miles that are far superior, less expensive, and more variety. I don’t blame the employees, the one guy was clearly new. They are just doing their job. I blame the company. They need better transparency on their pricing structure. Even on your website I can’t tell what cost what. It is a major rip off to your customer base. Big mistake on my part walking in here...
Read moreI love it! Corporate responsibility and sustainability! We all ned to do our part! I went to Just Salad for the first time today. Awesome restaurant! It has an awesome mission statement to reduce carbon footprint. There were several dishes that they suggested that reduces carbon footprint. Very happy about this. They use wooden trays and compostable forks. Beyond Chicken which I loved. And many vegan, dairy free, soy free choices. A great place for those of us with food allergies. I wish other restaurants would take note. 69% of the people on the planet are allergic to cows milk. This restaurant franchise owner knows it. My salad bowl was delicious. The smoothies are all made with oat milk. Great place. And there are so many other options on the menu, they can’t even be named. Take a look at the menu and see what you like! I’m...
Read moreThis place is really good both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by how good the food here was. The staff was very nice and asked how much salad dressing we wanted (light, medium, heavy) which is something no one has ever asked me before but it was a pleasant surprise. Another nice thing I don't always see is that they mixed the salad for me (not all salad places do this). I have been searching for a good salad spot for a while and most of them are underwhelming but not this place. The salad I got was worth it as it was a big portion. My wife also enjoyed one of the bowls. Safe to say I will be back for more salads in the...
