Tramonto Ristorante — Restaurant in Petersburg

Came in on Sunday, April 13th around 4:30pm today. We left around 530pm without finishing our meals due to an incident in there restaurant. The servers were nice, I ordered a baked spaghetti to go since I got my wisdom teeth removed I only ate my salad. my 5 yr old got spaghetti with meatballs & my fiance ordered hot Italian sausage sub w onion rings. After he ate 3 quarters into his sub he noticed what he thought was hair; until he pulled it out 🪳. It wasn't a hair. Our server comped his meal, however we all lost our appetite after seeing the roach on his plate & none of us ate a quarter of our food. Our meal totaled $37.26 & I left 20% tip paid in cash. This Restaurant's name 'Tramonto' translates from Italian to English as 🌇 'Sunset', which is when we arrived in Olde Towne Petersburg and chose this hidden gem for dinner. Glad we did. The food came promptly and was very tastey. I have to say it was so nice having our salads 🥗 arrive on chilled plates! I loved how tender the meatballs were in my Spaghetti 🍝 😋. The Greek style came with loads of feta cheese. It was a special request to leave out the 🫒 so my photo will not show how it is typically served. The loaves of bread were hot and fresh from the oven, great for dipping into their house made dressing. I will definitely visit again to try other...

The people who work there were very nice, and friendly! The restaurant was clean. I didn't like that there's a $2 charge to get a Caesar salad instead of the house salad, but it tasted good. Their homemade lasagna was awful, it's some of the worst lasagna I've ever tasted, and I've eaten plenty of lasagna from several different restaurants! It was so bad, I couldn't even force myself to finish it! My Mom did eat her spaghetti and meatballs, but my Aunt had to take hers home to add some seasoning to it because it was tasteless! I would never go there again, but at the same time, I don't want to cause them to lose business because the staff...
