While the lighthouse is one of Petoskey’s most sought-after free attractions, and is spectacular to witness in-person, if one has mobility issues or an elder, getting close up and personal with the lighthouse can be a struggle. To the lighthouse’s right side, there is a concrete pier, which is a slight shorter of a distance to receive a great view, but one cannot be close up and personal with the structure.

It’s best to visit the lighthouse during the summer months; less wind and diving into Lake Michigan...

Nice little stroll into the harbor. It was small compared to many other light houses in the area. If you are in the area it’s worth a visit, but don’t go out...
