Boathouse Row — Attraction in Philadelphia

Was greated , told abot 15 20 mins. 45 mins later we had to stand in there face to let them know we were still waiting. Finally got seated. Before we sat down, our table had to be cleaned off. The woman sprayed the table all over leaving the seats wet without even putting a rag on them for us to sit down. It was bad. We waited maybe 20 mins more and she took our order then said I'll bring the bread. Our salads came then the bread. Meat was ordered rare, I got medium. Ice tea was hot. We were thrown plastic utensils on our table with no explanation. Looking around to see no one else had them. Then they came back with real utensils after we said something. Not the best dinner nor service. She still got more than a 20% tip but we won't be going back...

Great spot for a number of activities. First of all, its a must see just because its an iconic view of the Schuylkill River. All of the different colored boathouses in a row look pretty cool. At night they are lit with Christmas style lights that can change colors with the seasons or for sports teams or whatever they choose. There are benches for sitting and people watching if that's your thing. You can rent bikes to ride along the paved River trail, or grab a snack at the small snack shop.
