In short: this restaurant has horrible customer service, bad attitudes, and they are penny pinchers with dry food.
I want to start by saying I did not have good vibes from the beginning, I was greeted by Luisa in an unwelcoming manor even though I was smiley and excited to try a new restaurant. I proceeded to order ignoring her attitude, I let it go. The major problem unfolded when she delivered our food. Rather than giving us the appropriate dish she made us figure it out. On one plate there were two sauces, leaving one dish without a sauce. We didn’t realize until later and simply asked Luisa and Marcos if they could give us a side of sauce due to the simple mistake Luisa made. Luisa did not feel the need to help the situation even though they did not place the sauces on the correct plate, they said we needed to pay for another sauce. It never gave that we didn’t have money for the sauce. It’s just a simple customer service reparation on El Taco’s end, they could NOT afford to lose a 1oz sauce cup that’s not even filled with sauce. The sad part is we tipped Luisa just for her to care less about our experience and for her to fail to bring us the correctly plated food. Alongside with Luisa’s poor performance and attitude was Marcos’s. He was very dismissive and rude to us with no remorse. Honestly the food needs sauce BADLY and it truly needs more sauce than they’re offering which is probably why they’re penny pinching on a 1oz sauce. Just...
Read moreMy bf and I stopped over today as it’s been awhile since we had their food prior to COVID restrictions. We were able to enter with MASKS on of course (safety first) and as we were looking at the menu, a female staff member was preparing napkins and silverware as they just opened and quickly turned around to greet us and show us the paper menu instead of reading off the wall. She started recommending items off the bat and suggested what customers have even created in the past that was good. After about 10 mins of conversation, I asked if she was the owner and sure enough she was!!! She was so humble and pleasant and willing to assist even though we ate their before but her demeanor and patience was amazing, especially due to Covid-19. Her husband was assisting a new employee who took our order (well over $60 spent!! Well worth it) and he was making small talk showing off their new register system which was very high tech and how proud he seemed was very humble to witness! The owners have busted their butts, their food is fresh!! I highly recommend trying something different each time as their food always hits the spot!! My go-to is the Crispy Tacos with Steak! And their Cilantro salsa is amazing! Please continue to support them thru these trying times as they deserve all the business...
Read moreI will start by saying the owner’s response to concerned customers says a lot about this establishment. There is no empathy towards their customers, feels like a corporate establishment. Very disappointing experience. Food was good but dry. After spending $69 on food and giving a tip, we were given rude and dismiss service. Luisa served us our food and gave us our sauce all on one plate. Being that this was our first time here we had no idea whose sauce belong to which meal. We kindly asked for a new sauce because the sauce included had been eaten because it was on the WRONG plate. Marcus, being dismissive said no and said we must purchase another one. Both Marcus and Luisa said it wasn’t their fault even though they served the sauces in such way. The lack of accountability and rude service justifies the response. Will not be returning to this location. My advice. Take your money elsewhere because if your order gets messed up they won’t care and will...
