I wanted to take the time to write a comprehensive review of the gym and tell you why I would recommend it.
Context: I have been going to this gym for approximately 3 weeks I joined with my sister and we both have a $99/month membership that covers both of us We go consistently at 6AM every day with the exception of 2 rest days. We have only gone twice in the afternoon/evening and it was on a weekend. I'm not built. I've gained weight over the pandemic (the girlies who get it, get it), and I wouldn't consider myself a gym expert though I have been frequent with personal training in the past.
First Impressions: We did a tour (always do a tour during a busy time of anywhere) of multiple gyms in the area on the same day and this was an easy winner. Loved that there was so much equipment and that they had a replica of the inside gym on the outside because waiting for machines is a pain at other gyms in the area. Appreciated the "sign up if you want, don't if you don't" attitude. There was no sales pitch which was refreshing.
Things I Love: Staff: AM staff is so friendly. Tracy and Scott have been absolutely wonderful. Scott helped us with a locker issue and Tracy always roots us on and makes us feel comfortable. Outside Gym: The option to workout outside on nice days is FANTASTIC. We bring a towel for the dew in the morning but we don't care because the fresh air is great. We also have played 2 bounce on the basketball courts for fun cardio. Mornings Aren't Crowded: People are pretty spread out in the morning and there's no wait for literally anything before 8am. Locker room: Clean, big showers. Easy to use lockers. Machine Variety: You just literally aren't going to get it at any other gym in the area. Period. Trust us, we toured them all from LA Fitness to Planet Fitness to Blink to Retro etc. etc. etc. When you see those people on Tiktok on those weird machines, don't worry, Fusion has them.
Constructive Feedback: I want the gym to feel like I'm at the club at 5pm onward for sure. In the morning (pre-7am) I just need the music turned down a tad. EDIT!!! Morning music volume has been changed to a good level so no complaints actually!! There's nothing to be done here but women don't wash their hair daily and waterfall showers are the worst. No worries! We have shower caps now :)
Last Notes: For everyone out there who gets intimidated by the gym, I know this one can be VERY overwhelming on first glance. Take a breath. Every machine has instructions and if you are confused just ask. The best part of being at a gym where most of the members are fitness enthusiasts is that they really know their stuff and they are ALWAYS willing to help! I have felt less like I was being judged here than any other gym because true fitness enthusiasts are way too worried about their own workout to be concerned...
Read moreSince posting my review a few months ago, I’ve decided to provide an update to reflect my current experience considering that I joined Fusion Gyms nearly a year ago when I was looking for the perfect place to train for the Spartan Race.
Last year, in 2024, the outdoor facility at the Grant location“was” top notch with rings, monkey bars, a climbing rope and any standard strength equipment you can think of. There was something for everyone. The outdoor space closed for the winter months, which is understandable. But it was supposed to reopen in the spring, and June is now less than two weeks, and much to my disappointment, the outdoor facility is still closed while a grand opening occurred at the new location approximately a month ago and an open house reopening of the Fairless Hills outdoor facility not too long ago. I also received a text from Fusion Gyms Grant location stating that due to unforeseen circumstances, its future is at risk. The neglect of the Grant location is evident as more focus seems to be given to other locations, and traveling to other locations is not practical for everyone, including me.
Though I’ve encountered some kind people on their own fitness journeys and kind workers like Casey and Reggie, which makes for a welcoming environment, I am contemplating if I will keep my membership since I am paying a fee that does not provide access to an outdoor facility unless I am willing to travel further to the other locations. I have another Spartan Race approaching and was eager to get outdoors at Fusion Gyms, so needless to say, I am now scrambling to find a facility to help prepare me for my next race in the event that the facility does...
Read moreI cannot express enough how Fusion Gyms has completely transformed my fitness journey. From the moment I stepped foot into this incredible facility, I knew I had found the best gym in town. Fusion Gyms not only offers top-notch equipment and facilities, but it also boasts a fantastic atmosphere and an exceptional staff that truly sets it apart from the rest.
The atmosphere at Fusion Gyms is simply unbeatable. The moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with an energetic and motivating ambiance that instantly gets you pumped up for your workout. The gym is always clean, well-maintained, and has a layout that caters to all fitness enthusiasts, regardless of their goals. Whether you're into weightlifting or cardio Fusion Gyms has it all.
What truly sets Fusion Gyms apart is its incredible staff. Kevin, Ali, Alicia, and Kayla are the epitome of what a gym staff should be - friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to lend a helping hand. They go above and beyond. Whether you need assistance with a new exercise, advice on nutrition, or simply a friendly chat, they are always there for you.
Since joining Fusion Gyms, my life has taken a complete turn for the better. Not only do I feel stronger and more confident, but I also feel sexier and more empowered in my own skin. The positive energy and support from both the staff and fellow members have created an environment where I can truly thrive and push myself to...
