Yeah, I went in here, trying to give them the benefit of his house. I asked for red snapper rice and peas and cabbage. He then asked me did I want a third option? I told him no because all the options are not cooked correct or old food. To go to the hair store around the corner to purchase a bag because they did not give me a bag, There was juice from the food dripping all over. Not only the Chinese lady in front of me say that it smells really bad to young students, A young man and a young lady expressed how bad it smelled. I’ve went to smell my fingers and it smell like rotten fish. The countertop was soaked with the juice for my planter as well as my fingers and it smelled so bad that the Chinese lady that worked there offered to give me some wet wipes. I bought the food back. I didn’t even say anything. All I said was can I get a refund, and he began to get extremely disrespectful. Every Jamaican know that this restaurant is horrible. they’re not selling rotten food. They’re also changing their...
Read moreI cant believe I'm writing this but the food here is not as good as it used to be. I have had my order taken down wrong on more than one occasion. Only to be met with a very combative attitude by the older woman (owner's wife) that works there. If seen her speak to people very rudely and didnt tolerate it when she tried to speak to me that way. Never do you EVER speak to a customer who spends their hard earned money with disrespect.
My chicken was dry as well as my rice and peas. My mac an cheese was watery and was not cheesy at all, I threw it away. Also too much salt is used on alot of the food. Have you switched cooks??

Jamaican D's is another option that is 1 mile away from this place. Grill and Dutchy around the corner from here are...

It was my first time going here, and it will not be my last.
I ordered to take out, but then ended up eating in the front outside area of the restaurant.
I got Dumplings, White Rice, BBQ Chicken, and Green Beans - Medium Size.
The amount of food is really good. In fact - it was too much food - in a good way.
You definitely get your $$ worth in proportion to the food size you get.
They take cash or credit.
You can sit outside and eat - right in front of the restaurant - you just have to open the little switch latch to the gate - to walk through and sit down.
When you're done eating outside, the trash can is right inside at the front entrance for easy convenience.
Owner was really friendly. Helped me order through the menu since it was my first time.
Highly recommend if you are really hungry. Zero...
