Harmony Nail and Spa — Attraction in Philadelphia

My mom sent me here to get my nails done for my dance. I showed what I wanted and was told it could be done. My dad took me and they made him pay ahead. I thought that was weird. I did not like my nails. I did not say anything because I felt awkward. I told my mom and she called. They were nice to her. They said I could come back the next day and they would do what they needed to make me happy. When I showed up with my dad they wanted to do the same design they already messed up. I just wanted them filed with colored tips. My dad asked for a refund and they changed their tune but I was so upset and they made me feel so bad I just left and went somewhere else. The only people forced to prepay were black people. I am mixed my dad is black and my mom is white. She has gone there and never had an issue. Only myself and my dad. Tuesday was my second time going there. The salon is very calm, serene and peaceful. This is a very pretty salon and you can tell the owner takes pride in her shop; From the calming music to the candles and different fixtures in the shop. The owner Kim is the sweetest lady ever. She walks around and greets her guests and make sure everyone is ok. The ladies that work there are nice too. Soon as you walk in you are greeted by Tee or Monica or the lady that sits all the way in the back. Their nail polish selection is UNREAL. One of , if not , the best selection I have ever seen. I highly recommend this place! Since moving to Philly I have had countless bad nail experiences so coming across this place was heaven! The environment is so incredibly warm and welcoming. I myself had a lovely man do my nails (acrylic fill and manicure). He was incredibly patient with me (I’m very Indecisive) and was so kind and made wonderful conversation. He took my very mangled nails and made them beautiful again. I was so satisfied with the service. I noticed all the nail techs around me were chatting with their clients and everyone was incredibly friendly which made the environment so warm and relaxing.
