Helen Nails — Attraction in Philadelphia

Very disappointing, as I had been recommended to come here. I think my first and most important mistake was not specifically requesting Ryan. An older women did both my pedicure and my manicure. I originally was going to get a gel manicure with designs but, after she did my pedicure, I decided not to do gel or designs, as she did a very poor job. I should've just walked out right then. The paint is uneven on my fingers and toes. It does not go all the way in and it also separates. She rushed everything. Very sloppy. I had to ask her to even out my finger nails after filing, as they were jagged. There was no hot towel or massage or anything moisturizing for my manicure. My hands are very dry now. All of the nail colors look old and expired. I will never return, except maybe to see Ryan and only Ryan. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. (I am writing this a half hour after I walked out and these photos are what my nails look like...)

Ryan is legit the BEST! Yesterday was my 1st time being there and I can honestly say he is a great nail tech. Responded very quick my text message regarding setting up an appointment and was very professionally and nice. I found my new tech nail, I am excited for many more nail appointments. I love the outcome of my nails, down to the shape & design. I am not a fan of long nails, but I gave it a shot and he did great! (Although I am missing my short nails) The shop is very clean and such a relaxed little environment when you walk inside. Appointments are great to make, you feel 10x more comfortable when you make an appointment because you know your spot is secured. I am sure they take walk ins, but if you can make an appointment you help yourself and the workers. I need to make an pedicure appointment now. The prices are great and very reasonable. This place is like a dream. I began getting my nails done there on a whim and have been loyal ever since. Ryan has a great personality and is always very welcoming. Customer service is always the best. Not only is he able to keep up with the trends his nail art is amazing. By hand, if you show him a pic, he will slay it! So much so that I am stopped constantly by people wanting to know "who does your nails." My nails are always shaped to perfection ;sleek and no lumps or bumps.
