I came from New York on May 18th 2025 to see Teddy Swims concert. This is one of the worst venues I’ve ever been to. It has the potential to be great but it is run absolutely horribly. After paying for GA to be up in the front of the arena I was told that my tickets were changed to accommodate the 10,000 people and I would have a seat in the front of their other stage instead. Which if that was the case might’ve been ok. However upon my arrival an hour before the show I waited in line for 2 hours to get in. After getting in the openers performances were done so I proceeded to my proper seating area where security told me I could not enter because I didn’t receive a wristband. I asked if I can go get the wristband somewhere and they informed me there was no more and I had to find a place on the lawn. So I stood in the back of the arena between 2 garbage cans because that was the only spot I could see the stage from that wasn’t taken. Then I found a guest services office on the way out the door to file a complaint and ask what was going on and I was basically told it was no one’s fault and that they don’t give refunds. I was told I should’ve found guest services earlier and they might’ve been able to figure something out but I wasn’t missing the entire concert dealing with a ticketing issue that should never have happened. I assumed that if you pay for a ticket that meant there was a place for me to be but apparently not at TD Pavilion. StubHub agreed that my tickets were valid and there should have been a place for me in my proper section but I can guarantee I will never come back again. Worst concert experience of my life. Do yourself a favor and avoid this venue...
Read moreHad me searched twice. Who knew the TSA was better? They searched my sling which only had the bare essentials, then go through a metal detector WITH the sling, search me again with another person (keys, wallet, phone, battery— nothing illegal there). They claim to be against smoking and enforce city ordinance but you can smell the reefer everywhere. If you're not going to enforce the ordinance at least let me bring a stogie and treat it like an eagles tailgate. At least my recreation would be legal.
They also forbid outside food and beverage (news to me, but I brought nothing in) but expect you to pay a premium indoors. Last time I saw the Orchestra there you could.
The patrons to my left would not stop leaving the row for concessions during the show. Absolutely rude. Merchandise? Any question I asked was responded with "if it's not on the wall it's not for sale." I get it, keep the line moving, but you can answer the question more politely professionally with a yes or no. And then you have the gaul to want a tip on the iPad? Yeah no.
I also called ahead to verify when the show would end. I was told 10 to 10:30. The set wasn't halfway done before I eventually left.
Porter Robinson was disappointing too, so I didn't feel bad, but it was the first dud of a show in a long time where I didn't regret leavin early either.
Think twice before coming here. It's out of the way and in a bad neighborhood. Better off going to the stadiums, TLA or E factory. Even the Fillmore would...
Read moreThe place itself is great. The seating is convenient with a ton of good views. The sound is also very impressive depending on where you sit. However, it loses a point for how frequently people stand during the concerts. I bought my seat when I paid. I didn't pay for general admission or the grass seats in the back. I paid to sit and watch the concert. One person stands in the front and then the entire section either decides to join them or is forced to stand to attempt to see. However, multiple times the people in front of me are so tall that I can't see anyway. So I sit to be comfortable, and have to stare at someone's butt the whole time. It would be nice if the people who wanted to stand had go somewhere else to do so, instead of inconveniencing the rest of the attendees. It also loses a star for the insane food and drink prices, when the food itself has not been enjoyable the last 3 times I got it (different vendors each time). This most recent time, I ordered a chicken sandwich, and they gave me bread and fried chicken. No sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. While the chicken tasted good, together with the bread it...
