Activate Scottsdale (Paradise Valley) — Attraction in Phoenix

We recently visited the new Activate location in the Scottsdale / Paradise Valley area, and it exceeded every expectation. There were five of us, spanning three generations—ages 7 to 50—and each one of us had an absolute blast.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an entire crew of Activate team members who were genuinely enthusiastic, friendly, and ready to get us started on an adventure. Their energy really set the tone. We felt welcomed and excited to dive into something new.

We were truly concierged from start to finish—guided through the check-in, the wristbands, and our first cooperative team game. It was such a unique environment of discovery and teamwork. Right away, we were all laughing, strategizing, and high-fiving.

Each game lasted about 5 minutes, which was the perfect bite-size burst of fun. We easily made it through all the different game rooms twice in our hour and a half session. Honestly, by the end we were ready to keep going!

I highly recommend bringing the whole family, especially if you’re looking for a fun, active way to reconnect, bond, and share something that’s genuinely memorable. Spend the little bit extra to give yourselves enough time to experience everything—trust me, you’ll want it.

We’ll absolutely be back. Activate has created something truly special for all ages, and Scottsdale is lucky...

We had the best time at Activate. There are a bunch of games to choose from. There is no way to get through all of them in a single visit. Each game types has different games within it. For example, the Lazer game has five or six different types of Lazer games you can play. Each game has different levels. You have to pass the first level to pass onto the next level. If no one is waiting to play the game, you can keep playing to move to the next level. If someone is waiting to play, you are done after you lose or pass. This is a great way to let everyone play the most popular games. You can play any game as many times as you want within your hour (or 90 minutes). We had so much fun trying all the games. Our favorites were the Mega Grid, Lazer maze, and Throw. I feel like there are games for every level and most ages. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Jay had us cracking up as he explained how everything works. He answered or questions and fixed the Lazer game when it wasn't working right. We will definitely...

Love Activate Scottsdale. My family and I have visited multiple locations (NJ and Katy,Tx) and loved the Scottsdale location the best because of the addition of the new rooms, cleanliness and loved to see that the doors have windows to see if other people are in the room. We really enjoyed the challenge of the "Scan" room and loved the addition of the photo room! As a family of four, we look forward to passing the levels in each room and its great for spending time together and we all truly enjoy playing the rooms. Jay B. was great at checking on us and explaining and answering all the questions we had. He is super friendly!!! He cleared up any questions we had about rooms, coins, prizes, etc. Wish they had a vending machine at the Scottsdale location to re-energize during and after our play.
