New York Bagels’N Bialys - Cactus — Restaurant in Phoenix

Huge miss. Ordered for pick up, first and last time. Order was wrong, bagel sandwhiches room temp even though I arrived prior to them being ready. At the counter I was handed a bag, my two sandwhiches inside, no napkins, nothing. I then asked the clerk about my coffee with the combo. He handed me a cup and I found some coffee next to the foundation machine. I opened the valve and received less than quarter of a cup. Went to what seemed like a manager or line worker, he tried to assist with a Krafe, but it was empty. He brewed new coffee 3 minutes later. I was then handed back my cup to grab from the few creams they had, and be on my way with no "thank you, have a great day, etc." As my daughter and I proceeded for the door a waitress coming our way looked at a dirty fork laying in the path we were walking and decided to leave it there. She then waited past us like we didnt exist. Not sure how this place obtained 4 stars thus far. Very disappointed as I live very close. As for the food, by the time we got to the car, 10 mins or so, it was cold. Taste was equivalent or less than the well known bagel shop that does the same. Waste of money and time. Go...

We placed an order online for this location, the end total being about $250. It was only 0.2 miles away from us and it was for a group of about 13 people. We went to pick up the food, and at first they told us we placed it at another location, 25 minutes away. I thought I had made a mistake while ordering, but as we continued pressing the issue, it was revealed that their was internet down so they moved our order to a different location. We repeatedly asked if they could just make our order, but after talking to the manager we were told that they couldn’t. It was overall very unprofessional and not a pleasant experience. A few other people came in around the same time with the same problem, and they had the same response for everyone.So as of now, we’re out of $250 as we’ve been disputing it with our bank. I've never had a worse Pastrami sandwich on a salt bagel. The menu provided an option for selecting the type of bread/bagel. I wanted to try both the pastrami and their bagels, so why not order it on a salt bagel?

*Starting with the pastrami which was tasteless - not even sure it was meat. The texture was wrong. *The salt bagel was the worst I've ever had - incorrect texture and taste. The bagel was way too small. I would consider myself to know a thing or two about bagels having grown up in the Bronx, NY. *Then, to make matters worse there was a hair in my cole slaw.

Capping it all off, the service was terrible.

The visit was on Presidents Day (Feb 20th, ate outside).

If I could've rated them zero stars, I would've. Instead, save your $$ and just go a few blocks further west to Chompies at 32nd St and Cactus where you will get real bagels...
