I came with my family around July 4, staying for several nights. We were disappointed in the pool situation, and management’s handling of it.
The pool has ZERO rule enforcement. No lock on the gate, and no wristband checking… It can get wild there. During my 3 night stay, I saw people who weren’t guests helping themselves to the pool, people getting belligerent on outside drinks, people blasting music on speakers, SMOKING cigarettes and weed around my 1yr old baby. I even saw some people who just jumped in the water in their jeans and whole outfit, which is damaging to the pool filter. Water quality was visibly poor.
Most of all - the entire time we stayed, hoards of unsupervised minors were tearing the place up. About 30-50 hyperactive teenage kids watched by 2-4 uncaring adults… making huge waves, cannonballs when it says no diving, and taking up the entire pool space to do acrobatic tricks. And they’d be there all day, making the pool hostile for my young baby to try a little swimming with me. Other paying guests like us were looking miserable trying to relax by the pool.
I personally got hit by a stray ball 4x, either in the pool or while protecting my kid sitting on our chair. Enraging.
So we lodged a basic complaint with the front desk, who seemed very aware of the nuisance group and told us when they were checking out. Since they were there for our whole stay, the woman at the front desk offered to remove the cost of parking for us, as a gesture of customer service. We didn’t ask for it, but we thanked her and went on with our short vacation. Not once did anyone from the front desk come out to the pool and reprimand, or reinforce any of their rules posted around the pool. ALL of which were being broken.
As we’re checking out, the man behind the desk denied any evidence of front desk offering us free parking, the day prior, saying “there’s no notes, how do I know it was true”. Then dismissed our complaints, saying “yeah well it’s a holiday weekend so…” So we didn’t even get the parking or our concerns listened to in the end.
I get very little vacation time, so when I booked embassy suites I thought it would be more family friendly. Make your pool enjoyable for the hard working, paying adults too, please. I will never come again or recommend this brand, and I continue to question my loyalty/...

Read moreMy two roommates and there seven-year-old autistic son level three and our three cats stayed at this Embassy suites for around 50 days in adjoining rooms due to a fire that happened across the street at our apartment complex. It caused smoke damage to our apartment which became uninhabitable. I have stayed in hotels around the country over the years and some nice ones, but I must say this is absolutely the BEST HOTEL I have ever ever stayed at. The staff is incredibly nice, considerate, polite, helpful, understanding, and I could go on and on. I don't know everybody's names. I just know they were all extremely helpful and so incredibly NICE. We saw only SMILES and GREAT ATTITUDES the entire time during our stay from the staff while we were there. I don't know everybody's name, but thank you so much, Cameron, Claudine, and Paul for always being helpful when questions were asked and for your time. You all are part of a GREAT team. I can't emphasize the comfort that you provided us while we were going through this very difficult time as a result of a fire. We were absolutely amazed with the HOSPITALITY that we received for our entire stay. Everything is extremely well kept, and the rooms are very nice and your maids are 5 star as well. You have to be one of the best Embassy Suites in the entire chain of Hilton Hotels when it comes to hospitality, cleanliness and service. They say you can always get to a man's heart through his stomach. Well, I'll tell you what that complementary breakfast they serve in the morning is the BEST. I learned real quick to get there early if you want to get one of those GREAT omelettes those gals prepare in the kitchen. They are the best and they have the greatest attitudes to wake up to in the morning as well. That complementary breakfast is absolutely the best breakfast I've ever had in all the hotels I've stayed in over the years. I want to thank you so much. We are so so so GRATEFUL for the time spent and GREAT SERVICE and GREAT ATTITUDES we received during our...
