Came here as a walk in and showed the nail tech a pic of the design I wanted. She was not capable of doing the design and so I tried it myself but I’m no professional… I asked her do a more simple design but was trying to hold back tears because of how much I hated the nails. She sternly said “if you don’t like, I take them off refund” and I was like “okay…” but then she backpedaled and offered to pint them a basic color. I started to cry fully at that point because of my anxiety from the situation and then told her I just wanted them off and that I didn’t like them, it’s Not what I wanted. I told her I wanted to leave because I was upset and she said I would have to pay $55?? I told her I would just take the nails off myself and she handed me a full pair of nail clippers, so I stood at the front desk clipping the nails. She called the owner after telling me I would need to pay at least $50.. which I told her the nails she did were not worth $50.She was clearly talking a whole mess to the owner in her language and when she passed the phone to me to talk to him, he started Yelling at me saying I didn’t want to pay and so on. I didn’t even get to speak. He was saying she spent “hours on my nails” Not at all. She spent maybe 45 mins on applying the nails. She could not complete the service. She did not have the skill for what I asked for (which was not a terribly complicated design- just some stars) on 2 nails each hand. Anyway I ended up paying $25 since she spent 1 hour applying acrylics I already chopped off at the salon. I posted a yelp review also and have a video of the lady saying “refund”. I’d also like to mention.. Not One person came in for the person doing my nails. One girl came in to get a pedicure, which she was helped by another lady, but it was just me in there getting my nails done and another woman who had an appointment with a different tech. I didn’t take away from the business. The skill set is just not there. The business owner responded to my yelp review calling me a “cry baby”… What a complete douche. Don’t go to...
Read moreWorst experience ever.. was not even a manicure basically just polish change.. Barely greeted upon arrival. However immediately given foil for old gel & that was appreciated. But then sat with nothing to do. Finally asked for tv to be turned on for which they did but... only one was set to a show & based on where the station is set you have to crane your neck. Within a minute of watching your neck starts hurting. Then the lady comes over & starts scraping the old gel off. Its obvious the nails were not soaked enough & I don't want my nail bed scraped off with the metal scrapper so I asked for more soak time. That should have been my first sign that I wasn't welcome here. The lady then came back 30 minutes later. She proceeded to use a nail file to get remainder gel off while filing my finger into shreds. She also didn't get all the previous polish off. She then barely properly manicure filed my nails and had me soak. This was so uncomfortable as the station doesn't have enough room to rest your arm. My wrist almost hurt as bad as my fingers. My fingers feel blistered. The woman barely filed my nails & then scraped cuticle oil on my nail beds repeatedly trying to get the polish off. My nail beds are ruined. They kept pressuring me to pick a color so I did. It didn't look grey but they said it was. The problem is the lighting in there is so bad no one can see the color. They were so unfriendly, no one can speak English or they don't bother to even try & listen. I apologized like 5 times for being "picky" like please put polish on the side of my nail to cover the polish you didn't remove & they said nothing. I'm tired of this rant but I could say more. This place is not worth my time or yours. They are rude, I just wasted 2 hours of my life & had to...
Read moreI have been going to this salon for years. I used to love it, everyone was always so kind and welcoming and they did a great job. On my most recent visit, I brought my 4 year old daughter, we both got pedicures (her first) and there was a complete 180. They barely greeted us, the lady doing my pedicure seemed mad that we were there. They kept looking at me and my daughter, scowling almost and then talking to each-other, rolling their eyes. I don’t need to speak the language to read the room. Not sure if they were mad that we were there first thing in the morning, or if they were mad that I brought my daughter- whatever the reason, I will never be going back. There are plenty of nail salons that welcome the business and they won’t be getting mine any more. Learn to be nice and value customers that are choosing to spend money there.
Updated * Yes, this is the location in Ahwatukee. Im not sure of the lady who did my pedicure, she is older, much older than the others there and the one that did my daughter's pedicure is middle aged and I know she has young- ish kids. She has done my nails a dozen times and has always been very nice, Tara maybe? But my last visit it was like a whole different place. So...
