Stopped by Cave Creek Park a few months ago in the early afternoon. I will say it was very quiet and peaceful. There wasn’t anyone around except a city worker driving on through. The park was clean and well maintained. Turned out to be a very pleasant day at the park. Regardless of where it is located, I recommend it. Who doesn’t like going to the park once in awhile? :)

Maintenance or the rangers stole my bike, who else would take the area my bike was in? Yet leave tire tracks. I go to work early, meet my ride at a park. Lock my bike up. Yet today rangers or maintenance works cut my lock then store my bike.

Nice park in the neighborhood. There is actually two areas with play equipment separated by a wash. There is a bridge that connects the two. Plenty of well paved sidewalk to ride a bike as well.

Homeless people are not all drug addicts, me and my mother got hit by inflation so we can't afford to pay for a apt.with just our SSI checks. People think that all homeless people are involved with the problems, but I have been homeless with my mother and our 2 cats since February 2024, we keep to ourselves and try to avoid the addicts and the problems. Though 99% are drug addicts, and they have big mouths. They all talk alot. We know, because we have been dealing with them. I am clean, not an addict, and my mother is the same. We can't afford a place to live due to inflation. Before you people who take the population and split it up, the amount of people in Cactus Park 2400 W. Cactus, is drug addicts and the people who live in areas around there, but even through alot of people in that park are drug addicts, not all people are the same. Me and my mother are the 1% of the population that don't use drugs. The restrooms were closed because of addicts, hanging out, doing drugs, and even being passed out leaving their used foil and other stuff in them. Not all homeless are homeless for same reason. 99% I would say are drug addicts. But think of the reasons people are homeless, do you know that there are some people that are homeless by choice, because of their drug use, but me and my mother got screwed by rising of costs, so think before you put everyone on that same boat, because there are some homeless, that small precent that became homeless and not due...

This park is fairly dangerous after the sun goes down. A lot of homeless living in the wash, occasionally you'll see a syringe or empty drug baggy on the side of the walkway or in the general vicinity of a trashcan. It is not safe for an individual at night. During the day, however, this park is a great place to bring your children and there are always City park maintenance workers present. Be sure though to not let your kids run around barefoot, especially through the sand. The restrooms are a little creepy and there are no doors or toilet paper. If you're visiting this park, please bring a friend or group with you and make sure your cellphone is well charged, just in case. There is a fire station right across the street and a police precinct just down the road. So don't...

Family fun!! Golf frisbee course, multiple playgrounds, room to play soccer, fly a kite, run with your dog and children. There's an area that the locals have dug out and an area to run remote control toys or if you're feeling up to it, ride your bike over the man-made hills. There's multiple areas for picnicking, barbeques, and it is shaded. There's restrooms, handicapped parking. There are basketball nets, a volleyball court, and a softball field with a backdrop. In the playground area, there are man-made rocks that the children can climb on and several tunnels for a game of tag or hide n' seek. You'll see people jogging b riding bikes and scooters. The sidewalks are wide. People are friendly towards one another and they look out...
