Rainbow Donuts — Restaurant in Phoenix

Very poor customer service. Almost had to call the police on the lady. She made a smoothie with water instead of milk and we said it looked like a melted icee. I asked for my refund the lady said she can’t when paying with a card. Only cash. I told her to Call the owner and she called the owner and he said he was coming in an hour to do the refund. That never happened. We called the store to ask when the refund is going to be able to be done for the $11.03 and she replied don’t call the store anymore. I videotape the whole incident and videotape talking to the owner on the phone at the store on her phone so I had his phone number and decided to call him directly. When I called him he expressed he’s a small business and barely making it as if I’m just supposed to take a loss on $11.03 and got no product. I told him that he needs to refund me the money because it’s illegal to take money from a customer and give no product he at that point in time told me either call the police or dispute it with the bank. And then it’s his house and not to come back there anymore that he’s not coming to our house starting problems. What type of customer service is that no wonder he’s a small business barely making it with that type of customer service! So now I have disputed it with my bank! I’ve always had a pleasant and positive experience whenever I come here, the woman working is beyond wonderful!

it’s sad and you should be ashamed if you’re one of the people who have complained about this place or her in any way, you must be the real bad person in your review that you complained about. I think people nag and complain just for the sake of it, even if everything goes completely perfect in every conceivable way, you would STILL find something to whine about and then give it 1 star because of it. That in NO WAY represents the true value and ratings for this place. I used to think reviews were a true reflection of a company or persons service, but when I actually read the reviews and comments left by some, I’m blown away by the lack of accountability and straight up dishonesty and whiney arrogance that people display in regards to reviews. Some even go as far as personally attacking the business/people based on prejudices and their own ignorance towards others to make themselves feel better I guess?

Sorry to rant but some of these other people’s “opinions” are flat out laughable and even when Rainbow Donuts tries to rectify it even without substantial merit, they’ll STILL cry and snivel about their “terrible experience”

The Rainbow Donuts Experience (Walk-In Edition). On travels in Phoenix, Arizona, I decided to venture on foot outside my Airbnb. I stumbled upon Rainbow Donuts and thought I would give them a try. Once entering, someone greeted me, and I ordered half a dozen doughnuts. I ordered the red velvet, glazed, chocolate iced, crumb, powdered sugar, and caramel glazed donuts. I also ordered a dozen donut holes.

While waiting to pay for my sweets, a man came into the store with a stack of drink holders. Like possibly eight to nine of them. He said he had been saving them and wanted to bring them back. Slightly strange to me, but I paid for my food and left. Once back at the Airbnb, I ate all the donut holes, the chocolate iced, and the caramel glazed donut. They were so fresh, tasty, and sweet.

Although I am not from this area, I would frequent Rainbow Donuts if I lived here. The service was decent, and the donuts were good. The prices were fair as well. Not sure what the "drink holder" thing was about, BUT that's unsanitary if customers recycle drink holders amongst themselves without their knowledge or proper cleaning. Thus, I would not frequent Rainbow Donuts if I lived in the area if this...
