I went to this location this morning for a Bridal shower brunch. I arrived an hour late and no one had drinks yet. Food wasn't served either of course. I didn't see anyone to order from so I didn't get to snag a waitress until she was brining silverware after a few people did actually get their food. The server brought out a plate with a quesadilla which no o e I. Our party ordered. She said no one ordered that but I'm starving... so he gave it to her. The biscuits and gravy she did order finally came out later and they were not good. Biscuits didn't even look the right color. She said they were also bland. My cousin had ordered me a drink from the bar so I did finally get a drink and they did have waters out. When all was said and done we had to go ask someone for checks. The bride to be was going to miss a flight if we didn't get her out soon. The checks were a mess and nothing was accurate. When the manager approached to ask us what was wrong he clearly had no intentions of trying to make things better. The first thing he did was start to make excuses for our first complaint. He looked super young and like he just had no place running any establishment. He was rude and did nothing to help our problem. I saw the waitress in the bathroom crying before I left and I wanted to catch her to tell her the issue wasn't her but the way the place is being run. I didn't catch her so hopefully she sees this. I would never drive that far again for...
Read moreBeautiful place, love the giant oversized flower pots with the equally beautifully planted array of seasonal flowers that line the entrance ways of the outdoor mall!! My guy and I own and operate 2 business's in and around pheonix and one of the business is a landscaping company. Flowers and plants in general are my favorite part of the job so I notice them first and foremost! The added bonus of the way cool lighted water feature outside an entrance way is way way cool and isn't just an attraction for the little ones ,I am drawn to it almost every time I visit desert ridge. Overall there is a decent selection of stores within and can find pretty much anything you may need and most definitely things you do not, but now need!! Lol. The stage with giant screen is a great attraction for local artists and seems to get pretty good attendance. The pizza place that's located on the inside near the awesome splash pad is TOO DIE FOR if your a new Yorker or Chicago native who may be missing REAL pizza, sorry az as beautiful as it is here and as much as I love az.....the pizza here in general, SUCKS. either way whatever the name of that one is, Go there! overall desert ridge has lots to offer from food, to entertainment ,a night out with the boys , or brunch with the girls , tons of shopping and even during its busiest days everything from traffic to crowd control and safety, it always seems to move...
Read moreCOMICX is "hard to locate" with Google, because it takes you to a comedy club close by! If you have more difficulties, go to the Bank of America in front of it! Good luck! But, when you get there, "it will exceed your expectations!" I"expected" a few kids sites for excitement and lame food.... I WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY BY THE EXPERIENCE! The food alone was outstanding! The nachos were to die for, and the French fries were some of the best I've ever tasted, hands down! We sat in the Star Wars section upstairs, so we were in the place possible! Our waiter "Jose" killed it! He was completely slammed on this particular day, but he was highly efficient and organized! We had the opportunity to meet the Manager, "Lee," which treated our large party like royalty! He was a blessing! This company hired the right man! As a local, or a tourist passing thru, whether you have kids or not, this place is well worth the stop, don't pass it up, it's one of a kind all in its own! The facility was clean inside out, the employees were best of the best and the food quality was "inner-planitarily" fantastic! Even a Superhero would kick back here! Have fun and enjoy the entire experience! What a true blessing to have...
