Water n Ice — Local services in Phoenix

We always come and get our water jugs filled here since they have the Kangen PH water and get 8.5 regularly. The other day I was fully impressed by the Manager Matt. He was training a new guy and praised him for how well he had closed the store and cleaned up so well. So many times you hear the negative and rarely the positive but I had to tell the both of them how cool it was to overhear the positive feedback come from Matt the Manager. It made the new guy feel good & proud and it was pretty rad that Matt was so supportive & positive for a Manager since most can be lame. I enjoy this little place and I like all the people who work here! I hope they keep the good vibes up! Matt deserves a raise & FYI…I do not know Matt on a personal level outside of this place. As with most new stores, they are always best, when they first open. This location took over what used to be Baskin Robbins, a few years ago. The scoops were a hefty size, when they first opened up and for some time after! The staff (young man and I believe the daughter of the owner were serving ice cream and were OUTSTANDING!! 5 STARS FOR.THESE 2! However I went in tonight Tuesday, May 20th 7:30 pm and the 2 young girls were absolutely RUDE, non-personable and had 0 interaction skills. I simply requested a 4 scoop (which were much smaller than they used to be) 3 in one cup and the 4th in a cup by itself! They did but then whispered to eachother about me, EVEN THOUGH I LEFT A TIP! I’m kind of upset. When I first started going there and saw they have the alkaline water using the Kangen Alkaline water I was excited. I would see the guy mess with the water filter and turn it on. My husband goes to get it now and he says the guy was telling a customer there’s no difference and that the new guy said the filter only goes up to 5 PH. If this is misinformation or just an opinion of someone who doesn’t believe in the alkaline water then keep it to yourself and don’t placebo effect your customers by not giving them the ph level they request. I’m going to test my water now. I hope the owner reads this and talks to the employees cause if this is just misinformation that’s not right or good business practice for the employee to be displaying...
