Pretty Little Nails & Spa — Attraction in Phoenix

This was my first visit to this place, I was on time and they were running late so they asked me if I could come back in about 30 minutes. I went back and asked for an American manicure which consists of applying to each nail a lighter white tip, easy and simple. The woman seemed to understand and showed me the polish she would use. I asked if could pay and she said yes, $17, and I added a $3 tip. She proceeded with the manicure but never applied the white tip and without a word she got up, motioned me to the nail drier, and went to begin assisting a pedicure customer. She came back and I asked her if she was done because I wanted an American manicure and to my amazement she said "that's $5 more". That was the first time I heard that, she'd never mentioned it before and price was never discussed. Naturally, I was annoyed and felt cheated and swore not to ever go back. I also felt robbed because she barely removed any cuticle and at the end, the manicure didn't look professional. I think she purposely ignored my request because an American manicure would have taken her longer and not be on time for her pedicure customer who is more profitable therefore more important. What a waste of money and time. Stay away from this place!!

I moved back to Phoenix and started the journey for keeping dip on my nails. It had been years I’d been getting it done and with design. So naturally I went to places that are known for doing unique designs and found a place that stuck. After a few months and terrible service I decided to look for another nail salon.

I found the reviews for Pretty Little Nails and called in immediately for an appt with Julie. She took the dip off and showed me the integrity of my nail had been compromised so suggested doing hard gel (liquid gel) this time around. I took her advice and she walked me through the entire process. While it was an unique experience with hot nail moments (literally) I came out with exactly what I asked for!

Went here with my daughter on a Thursday night about 30 minutes before they closed. Both of us wanted pedicures and a full set for myself because we had to leave for a trip in the morning. They quickly took us in and seated us to begin our pedicures and stated that they may not be able to do the full set, which I totally understand due to it being closing time. Julie decided to go ahead and do my nails for me and did the most amazing job! I can say that I am super picky with my nails and have been looking for a salon for quite some time to call my own. The staff was friendly and the service was great and my nails and toes looked amazing! Pretty Little Nails is my go to spot from now on!...
