Saint Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church — Attraction in Phoenix

I am a longtime parishioner of St Catherine of Siena. It offers the novus ordo and Latin mass in Spanish and English. Although the Latin mass is no longer offered in the main church. Only in the St John Bosco chapel. Sadly due to the new bishop Dolan who says that the Latin mass causes him to many problems.

The problem is the liberal theology promoted by pope Francis and the very liberal Bishop Dolan. That's the source. The Latin mass is not for them to take away nor diminish. It belongs to God. it's not their's, that's why its endured for 2000 plus years. The Latin mass is the language of God and will be offered to us until the end of time.

+JMJ Sunday, 9.22.2024... Recently learned that I have a few photos taken during a visit to this Church. It was the 4th of February 2017. The Church was closed when a friend and I stopped by; but, of course, was able to take photos of a few religious images on the grounds. It has been quite a number of years since I last visit Phoenix. Hope to be able to find the Church open so as to pay a prayerful...

I use to be a parishioner of this church now I attend St Vincent de Paul, Although the Statue in front of the Virgin de Guadalupe is beautiful, the Church is not named after Guadalupe it's named after St Catharine of Siena and I believe that's who should be in the shrine outside. It looks very confusing from the outside to see the name of the church as one thing and the statue portray...
