I was extremely overdue on a massage. For over a year, I have neglected my body and health and finally took the necessary steps to turning that around. I can't be happier about my experience and results from Liz! I booked a 30 minute massage with additional cupping. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the aurora of the studio. It was welcoming, clean and calming. Liz was very professional and informative. This was my first experience with cupping and she thoroughly explained what to expect before the process and kept me updated on what was happening during the process. I was also pleased with how personal and customized her massages are. Liz asked what essential oils I prefer as she prepped the room for me. Before leaving, she prepared a cup of cold water for me, as well as offered freshly brewed tea of my choice. Liz went above and beyond. Liz is nothing short of amazing, especially if you have chronic pain. I have a lot of neck and shoulder issues from a car accident over 20 years ago. As a result, I have used a lot of different therapies to treat my chronic issues. My favorite is massage, but finding a good massage therapist is difficult. You need someone who not only knows how much pressure to apply (some are afraid to really get in there) but how to apply it (it does not have to hurt to be effective). Liz is that person and her skills exceed standard massage. I was so impressed with how gentle, but effective her techniques were with myofascial release. I had a lot of knots and she managed to work them loose with very minimal discomfort. As soon as I felt the pressure, it would let go. I felt like a million dollars afterwards and very happy from all the endorphins that came with such tremendous relief. To say that Liz is a massage therapist is an understatement! She is a healer and is in her line of work because she genuinely cares about the quality of life that her clients will receive from her care. I went to her for a hurt shoulder and she's so educated on the workings of the muscle and how the fascia gets stuck and clogs up the inner workings of how our body is supposed to function. What I like most about her treatment is that she talks you through the muscle release and lets you know how it's supposed to feel when it's been released, this is SO helpful when I'm working it out at home.
