I had the worst experience with Soltra. I was so excited to move in and secure my apartment but I was treated so horribly by Scott, the property manager, that I decided to not move into the property. Scott was unprofessional, never responded back to the majority of my emails, texts and calls so much so that he gave my apartment away after telling him multiple times (less than 5 minutes after he offered me the unit at his price) that I wanted to secure the apartment but the website had a higher price than what Scott was telling me, so I tried to tell him I wanted to sign with his number and not the website. I let him know immediately after the offer and followed up multiple times that day and the days following. Scott never got back to me, after texts, calls and emails, got rid of my rightful unit and when confronting him in person, he told me there was no one senior to him that I could talk to at Greystar, did not want to work with me at all and refused to admit that he was wrong with his lack of communication. He spoke down to me, was downright rude and I was treated like dirt. I am a young female and was treated as if I could not afford the unit and as if my business didn’t matter. Being profiled on my age is completely unacceptable, I am a paying customer. This is a beautiful property but I highly advise anyone looking to move in to move somewhere else as the leasing office will never be on your side and Scott will be a thorn in your side to work with, unprofessional, downright morally wrong and unhelpful. You will never win with him and his snarky attitude. Read moreI looked at about 6 apartments in the area before stumbling upon Soltra. As soon as Marcus showed me the property and the amenities, I knew I didn’t need to look any further. It’s tucked right off N Scottsdale, but not directly in and out of the busy road, which I love for less noise and ease of commute. You also have protected turns getting onto the main streets, so location was perfect. Not to mention, you’re close to everything that is shopping, dining, and more.
The amenities are great as well. The property and units are beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. The drop zone, large windows, islands with built in shelving, wine cooler, French door fridge, and hard flooring throughout (I hate carpet) are some of what seems to be standard in all the units. Their garage door is also quick to open. No more waiting for garage doors that move at a glacial pace.
The real star of the show is the team here, particularly Marcus. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with the rest of the team here as well (the manager Scott, the female leasing agent, and Miguel the maintenance supervisor) and they are all professional, courteous, friendly and helpful, never rushed.
