It is a beautiful Byzantine Catholic church (in full communion with Rome). It is a very warm and welcoming community. If you are a Roman Catholic looking for a Sunday service celebrated in the (ancient) Byzantine rite, this is the perfect place. Read moreI haven't been to this Cathedral, (at least not yet) but I had the honor of getting to know Father Michael (who is now the rector here) while he was pastor of St John Chrysostom parish in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood and the Skagit Valley Outreach. He is one of the kindest, most genuine priests I've ever known, and the same can be said for his family. I hope everyone at St Stephen's will benefit from having him as their pastor.
