I ordered two cakes recently from Laurent, Bonjour Cakes. When I ordered our first cake, I would have been content with a good cake and a reasonable facsimile of a Chanel bag. What I received was exceptional. “Is it cake?” Not only did the cake look remarkably like a real Chanel bag, the cake was exceptional. The flavor was intense chocolate with a perfect moistness and flavor. Like a brownie in flavor. Perfection. We enjoyed the cake all week. I promise you have not had cake this delicious in Arizona. We purchased a large cake which was perfect for our 20+ guests. They were in awe and raved. This weekend we ordered a small birthday cake for our visiting niece. Same chocolate with chocolate filling. Supreme! I can’t tell you how thrilled we are to have such quality cakes available in Arizona. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Bonjour Cake! We were planning a weekend trip to Phoenix to celebrate a friend’s birthday and needed a custom cake on very short notice. After reaching out to several places and getting turned down, we found Charles, the owner of Bonjour Cake – and we’re so glad we did! Even though he let us know the timing was tight, Charles was incredibly attentive and understanding. He took the time to listen to what we wanted, communicated clearly and quickly, and made the entire process so smooth. The cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing! We were honestly expecting a high price due to the last-minute request, but it was surprisingly affordable. Plus, the delivery was perfectly on time – everything went off without a hitch. Aside from our wedding cake, this was the first time that my husband or I had ordered a custom cake. It was one of the best experiences we have had with any vendor or anyone in the customer service industry. Chef Laurent was extremely polite, professional and dependable. He was very prompt at responding to messages and was flexible in the cake design and details for our 6 year old's "Arctic animal" themed birthday cake. She and her friends were blown away by the whimsical cake and the 3D penguin on top that he made to resemble the birthday girl! And possibly the best part was the actual cake was delicious! We chose the lemon raspberry and both the kids and the parents at the party all loved it! I hate to say it, but her cake probably looked and tasted better than our wedding cake.
