What a brilliant company! Their online cooking classes aren’t your run of the mill instructional videos. This is a hands on EXPERIENCE where a Professional Chef is your personal instructor for the duration of the cooking. In addition to the instruction, the truly best part of SMCO is they send you an ingredient kit with EVERYTHING you need to prepare the meal you create. This isn’t like other companies that send you bulk ingredients and you still have to reach into your cabinets and refrigerator for accompaniments, it’s all in the kit for this immersive experience. The Chef in my class was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I learned so many little techniques that I now use daily in my cooking. My favorite class my wife and I did was a date night class, where we prepared a 5⭐️ Steak dinner with beautiful sides and it was one for the memory books no doubt! I want to let everyone know how awesome Therese and Brent are. I planned an event for some friends of mine and was stressed about putting everything together but Therese and the team at Sweet Moments made everything super easy and simple. Everyone received a box with all the ingredients portioned out and we were all able to join the virtual baking class and have a great time. Therese is very engaging and fun to listen to as she led us through the steps to make Salted Caramel Brownies. For an evening, I felt like a gourmet chef in training. I will put one of these events together in the future and Sweet Moments is the only company to use. They are easy to work with and I have no qualms about choosing them again. I really enjoyed your scallop & risotto cooking class yesterday with Chef Teresa. For some reason I could not unmute on our zoom call. Everything was timed so well and our meal was perfection! My biggest thrill was making risotto for the first time. I always thought it would be difficult but the way Theresa instructs and shows what your food should look like in real time so it took away all my fears. The risotto was better than some I have had in restaurants! Her stories of different cheeses to try was fun to hear as we stirred and stirred.
