A great selection of board games and RPGs and the owners, Jae and Jay make it super- comfortable for newbies and long-time players alike to learn and play. Thursday evenings are “open board games night”, from 5-9pm. Play old favorites or learn a new game from one of their instructors. I had a great time and plan to continue attending. Mimic’s Market is a great new addition to the Bloomfield area !

Very tiny and small game shop. Parking was hard to find on the street. I swear there was like 10 singles in the case and a VERY SMALL binder of “bulk rares”. We came from out of town and couldn’t really find any other magic the gathering stores. Staff was nice but sadly very kinda run down. More board games then anything honestly

Lovely environment, very welcoming. I also adore their selection of indie RPGs. You just don’t see other places with that kind of selection.

Cute little shop packed with stuff.

I loved the top teir selection of tabletop RPGs that weren't just d&d or Pathfinder. Tons of OSR zines and books. The shop as the namesake lives up to being a really good TTRPG shop.

I snagged OSR campaign setting book for a good price, cheaper than online and didn't have to pay for shipping which is great.

Looked like they had a fair selection of TCG in stock, and some Warhammer stuff as well. I think some better lighting to show off their stuff could be helpful as it was dim inside.

Little heavy handed with the "inclusivity" stuff, but that's to be expected with the demographics of the area and despite being normal I felt welcome hanging out and chatting for a bit. But if that's something your conscious about giving your money to keep that in mind.

Overall, it's a great hole in the wall especially if you like oddball and...

Friendly, “Inclusive-branded” store that really leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to actual stock. Very few options when it came to card singles compared to other stores in the county, and product such as MTG prebuilt decks were well over standard asking price compared to any other retailer (local and conglomerate). An example of such is the deck “Graveyard Overdrive” being listed as a $90 deck - where other small businesses have it listed for roughly $35. Overall? Great place if you want to stop in for a small event, but wouldn’t recommend buying any product.

Friendliness and inclusion I full heartedly support within the community, but not where prices seem to be...

Mimic's is a nice and cozy place to grab a board game for your collection, a booster pack for whatever trading card game you may play, and anything you might need for running DnD or any other TTRPG. The owners and employees are all very friendly and helpful. There's a few tables for getting some friends and playing games when there's not an event running, and even then, there might be a table open to sneak a game in on. Highly recommend stopping by for your physical gaming needs. They even have a nice Discord server for asking questions and organizing games with...
