This place has so much potential but sadly I won’t be visiting this nail salon again. I work in the area and got off early, so I decided to go get my nails done. I was originally going to another nail salon when I passed by and saw the huge balloon outside for 20% off, I figured it was because the establishment was new and thought I’d give it a try since it’s closer to my work. Upon entrance everything looked like a regular nail salon. I came in for a full set dip nails and a pedicure. The owner greeted me, asked what I was in for, then immediately assigned me to a tech.
It was when I sat down in my chair that I knew things weren’t gonna go as planned. The nail tech I had was an older gentleman and he immediately asked what color I wanted. That’s honestly one of my pet peeves, I had just walked in and didn’t even get a chance to look at the colors. I asked for the color chart and he brought it to me then started working on my nails. He was probably one of the roughest nail techs I’ve ever had. He rushed the service, was very aggressive with the tools, and just ruined the experience. He pushed down on my skin so much when filing my nails that he cut through my skin with the filer. When thinning out the dip with the power tool he was just zooming over my nail and caused him to repeatedly hit my skin and irritate it. My initial thought was okay he’s rushing because he’s got to get to someone else or he’s leaving for the day. But once he was done with me he sat on an empty chair and took a nap. 🥴
My pedicure tech on the other hand was VERY gentle, took her time, and paid attention to detail. The only flaw I had with my pedicure tech was that she had the chair pushed up all the way forward that the position I was in with my legs on the stand was very uncomfortable. I typically get to stretch out while getting a pedicure but I have to say I started getting a cramp the way I was positioned. So sad I had an unpleasant experience but next time I will be sure to just follow my instinct and go where I had...
Read moreI came in for the first time to get my nails done right before my wedding. The pedicure was fine, however, there were major issues with my nails. When I came in, I had a picture of exactly what I wanted in terms of length, shape, color, design, etc. I wanted a classic ombre French tip and told her I never had Gel X before but was interested in trying if it would work for this. She assured me that she could do it and never suggested anything else. However, apparently wasn’t experienced with using an airbrush machine, and I kept ending up with bubbles all over my nails. MULTIPLE times she sprayed my nails and kept getting bubbles again and again on different nails. Finally, after trying time and time again, she made it clear she couldn’t do it so I had no choice but to give up and just do a solid color with a design. The design itself is fine, but there were a lot of issues getting a color match to what was on my toes as well as making it the right length. After two hours and well over $100, I left with nails that are different lengths, ripped up cuticles, tons of dried glue and gunk under my nails, and ultimately nails that aren’t at all what I wanted for my wedding day. I’m never one to complain about my nails or leave a bad review, but I don’t understand why when I showed a picture of what I wanted, I wasn’t told that she couldn’t do that or offered another technician who could. Instead, I now have nails that I don’t like and need to be fixed before my wedding when my hand will obviously be photographed with my ring. I’m very disappointed and absolutely will not be back. I caution everyone...
Read moreThe most rude and unwelcoming experience. I have got my nails done here twice (dip color). The first time the finish was not good but I didn’t bother to raise a complain thinking it’s only human to get it wrong sometimes. But I went again and got my nails done. This time the technician finished my nails and at the end dropped acetone on my finished nails by mistake. She cleaned them up, applied another finishing coat and sent me home. I asked her if it’ll impact anything and I was assured it won’t. 2 days later the shine on my nails vanished and then the color started to chip off! I have a busy routine so did not visit them until 10 days later. The idea - to give them feedback and ask them to remove the color. I didn’t expect any free service but thought they could benefit from the feedback! Absolute mistake!! The owner (within the first 60 seconds of me walking in and telling him about my experience) started to brush me off saying we don’t guarantee any quality - this is all ‘you guys’ want to do - come here and ask for free service !! I have never been this appalled by a business owner’s attitude towards their customer. I have learnt my lesson and ask you to refrain using their services if you are expecting quality service with respectful attitude.
Note to the owner: Businesses grow with feedback , not with callous assumptions. Don’t simply assume someone is coming to you for freebies. There is never an excuse for rude, racist...
