Alright, this place really pissed me off. The food charges for the quality are absolutely ridiculous, and the service was not worth the added gratuity of 20%. If you don't want to read all of my comments just know that I am begging you to go somewhere else and save your money.
Food wise, are you serious? My wife and I got the "Little Brothers" which are four mini burgers with onion rings. It costs us nine dollars which is the same as the price at Chili's for something comparable. The difference between Chili's and II Brothers though is that at II Brothers, instead of actually making four mini burgers, they just cut the cooked meat from a normally sized burger info four pieces, put it into four rolls, add some cheese and a modest amount of bacon onto your burger and then charge you 9 dollars for it. One of my friends (who is a chicken wings expert) got their "Chicken Wings" and told me that it tastes almost the exact same as the the Tyson frozen chicken wings you get from walmart, expect they charge you 10 dollars at II Brothers! Additionally, he also got one of their "Grilled Pizzas" which was another HUGE disappointment. When he first got it I thought to myself "wow, that looks like one of the frozen pizzas you buy at a grocery store." Later he confirmed my suspicions saying that it tastes like they microwaved a frozen pizza, put it on a grill afterwards, dumped some jalapenos onto it and then called it a grilled pizza! At the end of the night, everyone was complaining about the price of the food, some paying nearly $100 dollars for a burger, appetizer, and drinks.
Onto the gratuity...
It is extremely rare for a restaurant to charge 20% gratuity, most will only charge around 15% and upscales will only charge around 18%. I wouldn't be complaining so much if I constantly had to ask for refills and if it wasn't for the fact that the group we met there was there for about 2 hours while my wife and I were only there for about 30 minutes. Additionally, according to the law you are required to tell your customers that you will have an included gratuity but we...
Read moreThe staff is friendly and beer is cold However, the food is not Great and expensive for what you get I was there as a single but with a group of people. At the end of the Seahawks game I stayed and visited with some friends. I decided to grab some food to go. I went to the bartender and ordered some lemon pepper wings and some chips and queso He brought my food out and my bill was $34 I saw he charged my $15 for the chips and queso I asked about it n he said he thought I ordered the mega queso. It serves 4 people and comes with meat. I said that was not what I expected. But since I had not specified which melted cheese n chips I wanted ( did not know there was more than 1 option) I paid the bill. When I got home I could not wait to try the $15 melted cheese. To my surprise it was Not at all good. It tasted like canned cheese with a teaspoon of ground hamburger. No flavor or spices at all. I ate a couple chips and moved on to my wings. Again Total disappointment. I could taste the buffalo sauce under some lemon juice. I don't care for buffalo flavoring which is why I order lemon pepper. It was like they wiped off the buffalo sauce and added lemon With the prices the charge I expected a good food experience. With that being said I will find another bar to watch my football games in or eat before I get there. Honestly it surprised me a bit that the bartender did not offer a solution when I questioned him about my order. Other than that the place is clean and our table servers were quick and friendly and the glass of...
Read moreI wanted to take a minute and let everyone know what an amazing place this is. We came into Plano for a family trip and wanted to find a place to do karaoke for the evening. Not only did we find Karaoke, we also found a great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, a place that makes you feel like your home from the minute you walk in. We were instantly greeted by the Manager Tim who made us feel like we belonged. Our server was Kayla and she was super friendly, on top of every refill and order and had a smile that should be shared with everyone. The KJ (Don) was helpful, ran a great show and knew exactly how to make you sound your best with every song. We enjoyed it so much the first night we came back again the next night. Lucky for us they have karaoke 7 nights a week!!! On our second night, Kelsey (who is also the bartender that night) was our server. She was quick to check on you, friendly to all who entered and refilled your drink before you knew you needed another. Tim was there again that night and greeted us again like old friends. We look forward to returning to Plano and 2 Brothers any...
