I'm just going to jump in and get this over with.

This place is great for IG photos. DO NOT expect anything else.

MOTHER's DAY.... 2024

It's raining outside. We have our service dog. It's kind of a no-brainer that we're going to be sitting on the patio. The hostess (or whoever) walks my wife to a table that was near the edge of the patio. So one of the chairs is getting wet. My wife THINKS to pull the table away from the rain... because apparently those "person" couldn't figure that out.

We sit. Two other tables are seated. They get greeted by the waiter first. Finally he comes to us, to which we order coffee. He comes back later, gives us our coffee. No creamer, no sugar. He goes back in to get those items and to put in our in our food orders. Meanwhile, our table is wobbly. I grab a napkin from a table of folks that just got up (because we didn't have any napkins), I fold the napkins a few times to fix the issue under the table. I finally start drinking my coffee. I get to the bottom of my cup and find COFFEE GROUNDS at the bottom of my cup. My wife would later find the same in hers.

The food comes. No utensils. Mind you, this is now "ask #3" that we asked for utensils and napkins. He comes back with "to go" plasticware. Yes... the white plasticware wrapped in the wrapping with a traditional napkin, salt & pepper. Thats how we're eating.

Finally my wife asks for the manager, points out the coffee and the manager gives us a discount on the meal. We pay, we still tip, we leave.

Ever since COVID, people have lost their minds. Business have taken a nosedive on customer service and hiring folks that have a genuine interest in doing their jobs. I am SO SICK AND TIRED of going "out" and having to hear an apology about disorganization, them being "out" of something, or their business hours are not as advertised on Google. And if all you're going to do is offer discounts or give things away, as a way of apologizing, JUST LOWER YOUR DAMN PRICES.

I'm literally at a point where I can make better food at home.... without the apologies for one thing or another.

I feel like part of the problem is that this current generation (of young folks) just doesn't care. That or they're "on to bigger and better things" and they're not worried about the "current" job. Whatever it is, I'm realizing that I'm better off just lowering my damn expectations when I go out.

Skip this place as an option. Don't waste your time... or just don't go when it's busy. Or just bring your own stuff!

I am visiting for first time ! I have not received food yet ! Beyond loud & chaotic in here !

You need to fix your AC! Good Grief. This is horrible

Should not be forced to tip to place to go order !

Fix your front door ! I'm sitting on the bench being jolted when door opens & closes

Do not have your employees berate me by telling me that you put on your website that your AC does not work .. go to home Depot buy some floor coolers ! You could have that place cool in one hour ! I am appalled that your employee thinks I want to hear excuses about why your AC does not work ! It is not Christina's fault that your AC does not work. WoW !

You also need a new produce vendor ! A hippo could not have eaten that cantaloupe! So hard ! Pineapple & melon was good ! My eggs were not that great .. a child could have cooked eggs that look like what I was served !

You also need to invest in adult plastic cutlery ! Sheesh! Plastic cutlery was teeny tiny like for children !

I still can't believe you charge upwards of $20 for eggs & waffles in that place.

Decor - what is with all of the lights ! Maybe just turn them off you have enough sun coming in ..

The Patio is part of your space is it not ? Patio was beyond depressing!

Looks like all of your money was put into your signage and nothing more .

I will file a complaint with BBB!

You should be shut down for not having AC . You should not fill up your restaurant until you fix it !

You should offer 50% discount on your upwards of $20 eggs & waffles until you fix your front door & AC

Natalie was great !

Beyond her Toxic. ...

This ambience of this establishment was beautiful! It was well lit, had nicely arranged decor, and it’s the perfect setting for pictures. We came during brunch/lunch, so it was extremely busy. The noise level was on the higher end, had to lean across the table to hear. But that’s pretty much expected. They have plenty of seating outside as well as indoors.

We wanted to order mimosas/drinks, but there was extremely delay with bar service, so we just had waters. There is an option for bottomless mimosas ($25 per person). Waitress did apologize for the delay. We ordered a Southwestern omelette, Chicken and Waffles, and Honey Berry Pancakes. Server left without giving us utensils and the pancakes weren’t warm.

The Southwestern omelette was delicious! Jalapeños, mushrooms, and a cheesy center that still melted on the tongue. Finished every last bite with no hesitation. The syrup for the chicken and waffles is an acquired taste, it has a spice to it like hot sauce. And the amount of chopped green onion was heavy handed, which again is an acquired taste. The chicken was fried hard and it wasn’t served hot/warm as well.

Overall the presentation of the food was lovely. Would definitely have loved if the food was hot and fresh. If there was a more convenient and quieter time, would have loved to try the drinks/mimosas. The food is something worth trying, especially if you’re not a picky eater. Feel free to ask questions on what comes served on/with the dish. It’ll give better insight to what to expect and how you want your...
