If I could give zero stars I would. I had the worst experience at this salon. I came for a dip manicure and the lady at the front desk stated she could help me. I began with pedicure from a guy which was ok. Nothing special. After my pedicure the lady at the front seat sat me down at the manicure station, and an older lady appeared to do my nails. She then soaked my nails She handed me the color pallet and asked me to select a gel color. I explained to her I would like dip. She stated “no dip I do Gel. You need gel your nails not strong. I do Gel for you. It’s ok.” I explained to her “no” and she flagged the lady from the front desk down. The lady from the front desk stated she doesn’t do dip. I then stated well you told me you could help me before I came and you sat me with this lady who can’t dip so can you do it? She then stated no she working at the front desk and that I should try gel it’s better and stronger for my nails. Me being accommodating and not wanting to go through the hassle I agreed to the gel with almond shape. After attempting to shape my nail I looked at them and had to have her correct some of them because they were uneven and not professional looking. She began snatching my hand and getting mad speaking in another language to the nail tech next to her. She than began to ignore me and my request stating she does not understnad and begins painting my nails. When I asked to look she would not let me stating “I finish first then you look.” After finishing I was furious. My nails looked like I got them done in a kindergarten class. I began explaining that these are unsatisfactory and told the lady I do not like them. She then placed me in a chair with another lady who attempted to fix the mess the previous lady had made by taking off the paint and reshaping my nails but there was no fixing the nails as she had mis shaped and ruined my natural nails and they were short per my preference. I told the lady at the front seat I do not like my nails and if she could fix them or do something. She told me to come back the next day to have them redone I told her I have work the rest of the week and will be unable. I came when I had the chance. She stated she has to work the front seat and will be unable to do my nails. She then charged me $85 for manicure and pedicure and I left unhappy add unsatisfied. I will never...
Read moreTook my stepdaughter and niece here to get our nails done for a wedding. We showed them what we wantes and they said okay. A little lady walked up and said I was first and called me over. I showed her what I wanted and she just stood there in silence. So I said okay maybe something simpler and showed her the second choice. She hesitated again and said okay. She went right in and putting the acrylic nails on. She didn't do anything with my cuticles. So far it was looking good. She painted the nails that were solid black first and then said "why you don't want just French manicure" my hopes dropped and I knew I wasn't going to like my nails. She was a really nice lady and no one was rude.... however. My stepdaughter nails came put amazing as well as my nieces (even though it wasn't the style she wanted originally). We both wanted like the cat eye magnet polish and was told they did.... they don't. They told me they didn't have the moon or star gold stickers but my stepdaughters stylist put gold star and heart on her nails. T My stylist didn't know how to do the ombre polish and tried and ended up putting rhinestones on it, which look okay. When it came to paying I was waiting for my stepdaughter to finish before paying and the stylist that did my nails started to get anxious and nervous about us not paying. She got up while in the middle of another customer and said okay you pay now. Now come on and was even pushing at my back, not rough but a definite push. I even said okay I'm paying. My niece insisted on paying for her nails, so I just paid for mine ans my stepdaughter. I always tip and had every intention. Then this lady held out the machine and said okay you add tip. How much tip you pay. So I paid 24 in tips a said 12 for you and 12 for him and pointed to where my stepdaughter was still finishing. I swear they think I wasn't going to pay which was insulting. I wasn't 100% in love with my nails but I was happy their nails came out amazing. Within 3 days the polish on my right Thumb started peeling off and I had to paint over it. For me and my stepdaughter it was about 170 Inc tip. Not to impressed and now we know why they're rating was 3.4. If you want a SIMPLE single polish nail, this could be a place to go for an emergency mani/pedi but for designs and...
Read moreI went in for a pedicure. Didn’t find the color I was looking for but settled. J appreciated the lady helping me find something close to it. She talked me into getting my nails done too-an acrylic gel powder something. I never had it before so I was hesitant. Then after I saw my toes, I didn’t like them. So I didn’t want to take a chance spending a lot on my nails too and not liking them or they chip the next day so I asked for a simple manicure to clean up my nails. While my toes were drying, 3 people came to ask me if I wanted the gel powder. I politely said no, just a manicure please. Then a different lady did the mani and she was acting like she didn’t want to do it. Had no words for me and she was rushing, going super fast. I aware the whole process took about 6 mins. She didn’t even do the lotion/oil part to massage my hands so I asked when it came time to pay, was that part of a manicure and her response was “oh do you want oil?” I was like no, I’m asking was that supposed to be a part of the process or the service. She asked again did I want oil so I was even more unhappy by then and said no. She gave me the receipt and I expected to sign it and add a tip (I was going to leave the bare minimum because they deserved no tip at all or I was only going to leave something for the lady who did my toes) but she says no signature needed so I was like oh, ok. Cool. And left. The next day, my nail polish on hands is chipping and peeling. Already. I didn’t do anything extraneous to cause this. Thank God I didn’t spend $40/$50 or however much it was going to cost to get the acrylic gel thing. I would of been pissed. Never going back. Very...
