Avoid this location extremely horrible. They will break then blame you. I'm sure ownership will read and spin a customer friendly response but seriously they are not fit to run a business how unwilling they are to fixing an issue that stemmed from their repair .But will go into detail on my recent experience. Went to sunrise,fl Techy on Nov 3 2023 for a screen repair for a cracked screen. All functions of phone working besides cracked screen. Eleimar was at the counter and stated I can switch your screen with another screen that is being replaced by insurance due to a small speck that was blacked out on the upper right corner. She asked if I wanted that screen for a small discount. I agreed due to the small defect was not a huge issue with a small discount so I took her offer. Came back after the phone was fixed and later discovered on same day my front facing camera stopped working after the screen was replaced. So I decided to go back the very next day to tell them my camera was no longer working after they fixed my phone. They sent me home due to the main person wasn't there on a Saturday, so I waited for Monday. Once Monday arrived I revisited the sunrise location advising of the issue caused by the screen replacement. She quickly blamed it on software and stated its not there problem. Basically brushing me off like she wasn't at fault. I use that phone daily for face time and pictures and I advised I have pictures up to this date before the screen was repaired and she stated it was Basically not her problem and didn't care about what I was saying, but advised to do many steps to fix the issue they caused. I was patient and followed her steps which failed and returned my device back to the sunrise location to be properly fixed. She kept my phone for 6 days. Called the location twice on the 5th day and no answer and left a voice mail. My call was returned by text 5 hours later stating it's a software issue and they refused to fix it. Very rude the way ownership is not taken after returning so shortly from a botched repair. If they break your stuff they will blame you!! They will have an excuse for what they break. If you have same issues with them don't waste your breath they will just make you upset. I just wish more honesty was placed. If you broke it you broke it just fix stop blaming and take ownership. Update with repair. Picked up phone today Nov 15th after giving it for the last chance repair and texting a night before I was coming to pick up phone the whole phone back was completely open. Very aggressive asking for my phone to fix which i denied since attitude was present. Tried to take pictures of my phone condition and threatened to call authorities for taking pictures of my botched repair....

Call after call, I was met with shops unwilling to take the job or telling me it’s impossible. So I kept calling until a young lady at Techy Sunrise picked up. I explained the issue with my controller and that I was being told this repair isn’t possible. She gave me a number to send pictures to, and I sent her pictures of the broken controller. She immediately responded that they can fix it. I texted back asking her if she was sure. She assured me, and off I went to get my controller repaired. Once I arrived, the Tech looked at my controller and asked for 15-20 minutes to assess the damage. Once returning, I was told they needed an hour to find parts no call was made. I called back the next day and was told they were having trouble locating the parts. I started to get the feeling that they were capable of doing controller repairs, so I searched until I found a shop that specializes in video game repairs. After waiting two days, I called Techy Sunrise to pick up my controller and immediately dropped it off at a different tech shop but was informed by the tech that screws and parts from the inside were missing. I called Techy Sunrise to inform them of the missing parts but, the women and tech who I’ve been in contact with and tried and failed to repair my controller, went on to completely deny anything was missing and that they had nothing to do with the missing screw and that it was part of the broken piece that was missing. So I sent them pictures of the missing screw and pieces showing them it’s not apart of the broken part but they have completely stopped responding. BEWARE taking your electronics to places like this. I have been having issues with my MacBook Pro and it was taken to Apple a handful of times. They kept telling it was different parts that needed to be replaced and that the cost was $400+. I took it in yesterday once again since the computer was giving me error messages and after a few hours of having someone from the Genius Bar run diagnostics, the guy told me that it didn’t look good and that it looked like I needed to replace the pro logic board that was going to cost me $450. Or if my second option was to do a trade in for $175 and buy a new one. Given that both the repair and a new computer was going to be costly I decided to sleep on it. Today I came down to south Florida to visit my family and my sister who has taken her phone in to get repaired, advised me to have it looked at and see what could be done before trading it in. The gentleman Carlos took care of me as soon as I stepped in and asked me what the issue was and to give him a rundown as to what apple had done. In a nutshell, Carlos worked his magic and was able to do a hard boot on the computer and update the software for me (which was something that apple attempted to do and the computer failed to do). The computer is fully functional again and the service provided was overall exceptional as well as their prices. I saved myself a headache and having to pay $1000 plus for a new computer.
