DO NOT go there for passport photos. See the photo attached, the picture on the left was taken by Staples, the picture on the right was taken by a proper photo studio.
I went there for passport photos, couldn't be more disappointed with the service and the pictures. The photo was taken on a basic Nikon DSLR with a cheap kit lens, they didn't show me the photo once taken and took it to printing right away. They did not position me in any way and didn't give me any instructions, they just quickly snapped a photo and took it to printing. After seeing the photo, I was shocked that they deemed it ok, my eyes are almost closed and the picture was not looking good. I needed 4 sets of 2 pictures each and I paid full price for them. After seeing how bad the picture is, I asked if it could be re-taken but I was told that that's how passport photos are supposed to look. So basically, I got 8 unusable pictures for $100+, stay way. Better go to a proper photo studio, at least they take your picture properly and give discounts on each subsequent set if you need more than one ( I paid around $60 vs...
Read moreTL;DR - save your time, go to FedEx for any printing needs.
Easily one of the most frustrating experiences I've had. Went in with two files in my email prepared to print. Waited in front of the printing area, chose the paper I was interested in, then was told to email the files to their inbox.
One of the files went through fine, but the second file kept bouncing from their inbox. I kept mentioning the issue to the 3 workers in the printing area to only be ignored. I stood there for 30 minutes sending the email through various emails addresses before finally walking out of the store.
Only then did a worker acknowledge me and said we can only accept emails with 15mb attachments. Why not say that the first time? Not 30 minutes of ignoring me.
Immediately took my business to FedEx which had great customer service, easy file upload, and was out in 10 minutes after...
Read moreThis is the worst customer service ever. Every time you call the store, you wait and wait and wait till you are connected to a rude, hurried and confused employee who more likely than not tells you they cannot help you or if "you really need it go to the on line store". The are under-stocked and over confident. I had a computer virus that they charged me 0ver $150.00 and made me wait for several days. Once picked up, nothing had changed. I had to take it to another outlet in Walnut Creek and they repaired it the same day.
Their print shop is a disaster. Long waits, inconsistent pricing, rude employees who tell you they are unable to help you and go on line, or they are under-0staffed. This latter is typically the excuse. It is however true. Enough. Take your...
