Artistic Roots — Attraction in Plymouth

This is an amazing cooperative gallery and teaching center... a must to check out when coming to Plymouth. Even if you just want to look at beautiful creations, like visiting a museum, this would be a great place to visit. Over 36 local artists work together to run this lovely, 2 story space that is just full of amazing artisan works! It's not just artwork on the walls, although these are lovely and quite varied-oils, acrylics, water colors, mixed media, fabric work, etc. Most wall artists also sell matted prints and cards of their work. There are also many artisans with creations in mediums ranging from fused or torch work glass to pottery, quilting, crocheting, jewelry, woodwork...too many to name. Whether I want a small gift for a friend or an amazing wedding gift...this is where I could find it. In addition, they also teach classes in a large basement room, and have activities that support the arts.
