Speaking as someone who's visited, worked, and been featured, I can say Museum of the White Mountains is a gem. This museum is under the Plymouth State University umbrella and run by an amazing team including the Director, Assistant Director, Curator, and student workers. The Museum has a new exhibit about every 4 months, with fun events hosted in the lower level of the museum which you can also find on the museum's YouTube Channel. Great for a solo visit or a larger group. Although this museum may look small from outside, the staff are experts at curation and space utilization and I think you'll be surprised how big it feels on the inside. It's free admission (donations appreciated) and free parking on the side of the building so why not take the time to stop by if you're in the area!

Nice little quick stop. It's free so definitely worth checking out, just wish it was more about the actual White Mountains

Nice, staff was friendly. I went because I was told the man in the mountain display was there but was told it's there only sometimes. I was disappointed but the museum is small, quaint with lots of information. I painted a coaster which I was able to take home with me. I'd love to go the next time I'm in town to see the...

Fascinating and fun! Learned about the Grand Hotels of the White Mountains. The museum had an enjoyable way of making the visit interactive by assigning a "person" to each visitor and placing information about that person throughout the exhibit. This is a small museum that accepts donations instead of...
