In my recent travels to Plymouth, NH, for a family wedding, I had the pleasure of dining at a local gem, ‘Peek a Bowl’. After navigating some construction in the area, we found ourselves stepping into a space that exudes coziness and welcoming warmth.

The layout is straightforward, with a well-organized counter where chefs are busy at work, a testament to the kitchen’s transparency. We were seated promptly, and the breadth of the menu was impressive, offering everything from rice bowls to sushi burritos, vegetable bowls, and a selection of inviting curries.

We chose to build our own rice bowl, topped with spicy tuna, avocado, and a seaweed salad. The freshness of the fish was instantly noticeable and it truly enhanced the overall flavor. Compared to many poke bowls I’ve had on the West Coast, Peek a Bowl’s version was superior in taste and presentation.

The meal was paired with a brown sugar latte that was incredibly enjoyable, with a subtle sweetness that complemented the bowl perfectly. The side of mango sauce added a tangy sweetness that continually impressed with each bite.

Every ingredient in the bowl was thoughtfully selected, offering a balanced and satisfying meal. The portions were just right, leaving us feeling content without being overly full.

The overall dedication to quality was evident, not only in the food but also in the service and ambience. It’s clear that the staff and the chefs put great effort into ensuring a delightful dining experience. I can honestly say that Peek a Bowl is worth the trip from Boston, and I look forward to my next visit.

Very modern and clean. Friendly staff and food is extremely fresh. Great place for a date with reasonable prices.

We drive from Franklin and have been here several times now. This place stands out far above other restaurants with it's unique offering to the area and adedication to excellence. We'll definitely be featuring this place on our food blog. Their expansion yet simple menu has inspired us as home cooks. Interior is tastefully and thoughtly decorated. Tables are always clean and dry. Even has a convenient online order option on their website. This place may be newish but if they continue like this they will need to expand their building or make locations. Just another poke bowl place wouldn't compete the same without their high quality in service and food. Take for example THOP and the numerous garbage pizza joints trying to compete. Just look at the reviews. This place could accidentally drop my lunch in my lap and knock my tea on the floor and I'd still give them the solid 5 stars they have earned. There's just something irreplaceable about a host genuinely greeting you with direct eye contact and enthusiasm.

Our only request would be larger or cheaper bubble teas, but they are definitely reasonable price. A little over sweet for our liking but probably the way most people, especially college...

This is my hands down, all-time favorite restaurant in Plymouth NH! I love Thai Smile as they used to be my favorite place to go for quick, affordable and tasty meals, but when the family separated and established Peek A Bowl, It was a 5-star winner for me and was an instant fav. These folk really know how to throw down some of the best food this side of east USA, and I used to be a chef! I’d recommend them any day, they have a diverse menu and plenty of customization for your needs, whether you’d like extra meat or you’d prefer a vegetarian option. They are so incredibly kind and considerate. Their online ordering system is excellent and really easy to use. Today I accidentally walked in 20 minutes early, and they still offered to seat me, I politely declined, apologized and left to order online for when they were open. I sat in the common to enjoy the sun, and in only a few minutes, one of the staff members took it upon himself to deliver the food to me. It’s was unnecessarily kind and sweet.
