Stephens Field — Attraction in Plymouth

Stephens Field is brimming with recreational opportunities. Positioned at the far end of the parking lot is a boat launch. The area boasts a superb, all-grass softball field, a basketball court, a meticulously kept playground, and a distinct beach area (distinct from the boat launch), conveniently reachable through the playground. Adjacent to a small pond, you'll find a beautifully maintained picnic spot furnished with tables. Great place overall. From far away, it may look a little sketchy, and that's because it is. But the town is working to fix it at the moment. And other from a corner in the brush, it's not really that dirty. But my favorite thing are the ducks. While I highly recommend you don't feed them (because it doesn't give them the right nutrition, and it doesn't give a good example for duckling to learn how to get grub from the pond), they are absolutely adorable. The town did a very good job at redoing the entire area! It all came out beautiful, and my kid absolutely loves the new playground! I'm very happy that the town created this new park for families with children to enjoy! Outstanding job!

The only thing I ask is for the parents/guardians to ensure you close the gate behind you. I don't want to see my kid or anybody else's kid. I just run out from the playground. I'm pretty positive that's the last thing a parent or guardian would want to see haopen. So please, shut the...
