This place is great. From ambiance, to service, to food quality, to value. On par with Fiesta Charra in Carver and Cancún in Kingston, and now my favorite as a local in the area! I dined in with 2 other friends, the booths could easily handle 6-8 adults. Cocktails/mixed alcohol drinks were beautifully done and tastefully strong. The chips for dine-in were seemingly bottomless, which was incredibly well received with the, for most, a medium spicy salsa. My friends I was with swear and love the queso, which was a modest extra. I got the fajita burrito (modified for dairy allergy) and this was 2 meals for me (be prepared to bring half home for the fridge for lunch next day! If walking around Plymouth after, consider splitting this dish). Guacamole on top was as fresh as refreshing. We all went straight to bed and stuffed. Having exclusive and available parking compmimentary to guests in this area is also a huge plus. This truly felt as authentic mexican as you can get in Plymouth/South Shore - Well Done, Bravo, A+

My first visit to this restaurant, which was recommended to me twice. The ambiance was cozy and the service was very good. I ordered chicken tacos, a very common item, nice presentation, but instead of chicken strips, the chicken was diced into small tiny pieces. The chef's prerogative is fine & flavor was fine. We thought we ordered the steak tacos, but we ordered wrong, we ordered Colorado street tacos which were chunks of top sirloin steak cooked in red mild chili sauce and spices. We found the steak dry even though it has a flavorful sauce on top. The waitress noticed we didn't eat but two bites, and offered another menu item. We thanked her and ordered the steak tacos and still small diced up meat, which tasted better than the Colorado tacos, in our opinion. Chips, salsa and margaritas. Centrally located in Plymouth. Prices are a little higher compared to neighboring areas, and they didn't offer any taco Tuesday specials which is also fine. Check out their menu online or call them. Enjoy.

Hubby and I were looking for a new place to try. We happened upon Labama. Easy to get in and out of. Parking lot was a little small but there were plenty of places to part. It had a nice upbeat Mexican Restaurant vibe to it. I had a piña colada. It was pretty tasty. Next we had the chips and salsa. Perfecto! They definitely nailed it with the salsa. I had the pork carnitas, which are my absolute favorite. The meat was super tender. The flavor was perfect. It came with a side of soft and tasty, but very thin tortillas. I like my tortillas to be a little ticker, like mama used to make. Hubby had a veggie burrito and he really enjoyed it. Our waiter, Alberto, gave us some hotter salsa. I highly recommend it if you have the stomach for it. Everything was great. Food came out quick and hot. We ordered some churros for dessert but I had to bring mine home as I was way too full. The place was clean and inviting. Food was flavorful and abundant. It's definitely worth a visit.

CELIAC BE WARE. I never had an issues but I use my judgement on ordering. New menu list GLUTEN Free item but it's incorrect. They list some of the enchiladas as gluten which they generally are GF based upon the sauce on it and corn wraps, the combo ones should be GF but not listed that way, and the chile Relleno which is covered in flour is listed as gluten free. I verify both of these with the establishment and I was told that they are miss labelled. See pics, looks like they just randomly put GF on menu items, some other items miss labelled as well. Fried items are also listed GF but shared fryer. Drinks and food are very good, both good portions and taste great. I do enjoy the place. But like anywhere use your knowledge and judgment if you have an allergy.

Unexpected date nights are the best, especially when you’re craving Mexican food! Stopped by La Bamba in Plymouth and it did NOT disappoint. 🥑 Started off with their house-made guacamole – fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. 🌯 I went for the steak burrito, smothered in rich red enchilada sauce – hearty and satisfying! 🍗 She got the Pollo Chipotle Chicken – super flavorful with just the right amount of spice! 🌶️🔥 🍩 Ended on a sweet note with churros – crispy, warm, and dusted in cinnamon sugar. Great spot for authentic flavors, good portions, and a cozy vibe. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!

We just moved to Plymouth and wanted to find our new regular Mexican restaurant, and this was perfect for us! We ordered the margarita flight (jalapeño, strawberry, and mango flavors), birria tacos, a quesadilla, and a chile rellano- everything was very tasty! The food came out super fast, so we didn’t really have time to enjoy the chips and salsa before dinner, but we didn’t mind. We ended up sitting for a while after we finished dinner just to enjoy the patio while we had more chips. The first refill of your chips and salsa is free, but after that it’s $3 per basket. Overall we really enjoyed our experience!
