This meal for 2 people cost $50.00. Got the bubble tea and it tastes watered down. Incredibly disappointing. We thought they forgot some of the food from the order and when we called and asked for the owner questioning why 10 pieces of sushi and 2 flavorless teas cost $50 they basically brushed us off like it was nothing. I NEVER leave bad reviews, the only reason I’m leaving one now is because this was a birthday dinner for someone special to me and it ruined the evening. If the attached picture looks like $50 to you then by all means order it and be just as disappointed as us. Edit to owner response: Let me respond. Number one, perhaps if you listed the quantity you receive for the price this issue could have been circumvented because I would have gotten food elsewhere. In addition, the sweet potato in the sweet potato roll was burn and difficult to eat. Nothing and I want to repeat NOTHING about this food was satisfying nor worth the price. To fall back on the “you try owning a small business” argument should make you feel embarrassed if that’s your excuse for not providing a somewhat decent product. The fact of the matter is I didn’t want to open an awful restaurant, you did. So run your awful restaurant. Not only that but to say we DEMANDED a refund is a mischaracterization of the conversation we had and I think you know that but please feel free to save face for your google reviews. Also feel free to continue to offer mediocre food. Seems to be your calling.

I have been to Kogi several times over the last one and a half years and have always had a good experience and have recommended to many family and friends. After the experience I had last night, I will never return or recommend Kogi again. I have worked as a waitress part time for over 30 years and I understand everyone has an off day, mistakes are made (Which can be fixed), and I realize that it is very difficult to get help right now and everyone is short staffed....But what I experienced last night was unacceptable and nothing short of incompetency all around. I called in the afternoon and made a reservation for two people for 6 PM. We arrived at 6 PM and there were two other parties of two waiting before us. We stood there for 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us. It was not very busy at all when we arrived, there was a party of maybe 8 people in the back room and maybe 3 or 4 other tables with people and plenty of open tables. The staff looked very disorganized. There was a female waitress that appeared to be the only one waiting on the tables... a tall thin man (which was our waiter eventually), a younger kid that was rolling silverware and helping with some takeout orders, a woman behind the bar, and a sushi chef that appeared to be very efficient. I’m not saying this to belittle or criticize but it was apparent that there wasn’t a “system” in place or whatever system they had wasn’t working. Finally a young man came over and asked one of the parties in front of us if they had a reservation, they did not and were told they would have to wait. We told him that we had a reservation and he seated us and said someone would be right with us. We sat at the table for 25 minutes Before anyone came back to our table and it was the gentleman that sat us. He asked what we wanted to drink and my boyfriend asked for water and I asked for an iced tea and we also put in our orders at that time being that we had already waited 35 minutes. We ordered chicken wings for an appetizer and, two Dolsot Bibimbap for dine in and one to go. He brought two waters to the table....no iced tea. I thought he would bring it afterwards but it never came. About 20 minutes later he came back to the table and said “ you ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap right?” ...we confirmed and he was gone. I thought maybe they are done and he forgot who ordered them...and just forgot about our chicken wings and my iced tea, but I was wrong. During their time they continued to fill more tables and the staff became more chaotic. After we had been sitting for about 1 hour and 10 minutes...45 minutes after ordering I called the waiter over and asked if our dinner was almost done. He checked and came back to the table and said “I’m sorry but they haven’t even started making it’. WHAT?? I tried to keep my composure, but seriously??!! First we waited 25 minutes to get drinks and I didn’t even get what I ordered, we never got our chicken wings, and after 45 minutes the kitchen didn’t even start making our food! The waiter said there are only 2 people in the kitchen and he was training the other waitress. The entire time I was there I did not see him with the girl and she appeared to be doing a decent job with the inefficient situation they were dealing with. She at least had interaction with her tables unlike the waiter we had. At the very least he should have checked in with us and told us that the kitchen is short staffed and there would be a longer than usual wait. I told him that we had been sitting for 1 hour and 10 minutes with only water and they should not be seating more parties if they can’t keep up/handle the customers that already ordered. I am totally disappointed with the lack of service from the time we stepped in the door until we left an hour and 15 minutes later with nothing but water and a very...

I love Korean food for the most part. I've been served Bibimbap in nearly 100 restaurants from NY City to Seoul. I've yet to have been served a "bad" bibimbap but this was hands down the least impressive. The beef was of low quality and over cooked. The sauce container was half empty (you can order another half empty container for an additional charge). They did not honor my request for chopsticks and you can't even order a side of kimchi... Seriously?

Ok So you did not address the quality issues in you response. Nor did you address the half empty sauce contianer. Instead you decided to insist the requested chop sticks were in the order. Whoever operates the delivery seriously failed. Picture or no, the chop sticks never made it here. Also, I am fully aware of the fact that Bibimbap is eaten with a big spoon. I have not been able to eat with a big spoon since I had reconstructive surgery on my jaw. I am no longer able to open my mouth wide enough. Irrelevant, I asked for chop sticks and did not get them Did I mention, the delivery service did not follow instructions to leave at my door? I am disabled but had to come down to the desk to...
