Goodwill is a store that, until today, was one of my favorite places. You find treasures, the staff is amicable, and I love to support your cause. Today I stopped by at 6:30 pm. I knew what I was looking for, so I went to get what I needed it. My last stop was the jackets located almost next to the cashier. They announced they were closing, and you had to be in line in the next 10 minutes. It was 6:45 pm; just as the manager finished the announcement, she came to me yelling that I had to go in line, screaming like a madwoman. I did tell her I was in my way, but she kept yelling. I went to pay, and I asked the cashier who the manager was, and the two girls said it was her, and her name, I believe, was Lindsey or something like that. When I asked her last name, they said they didn’t know her last name. I went to my car, and I was typing an email to headquarters, which it took me like 10 min when I pulled out of the parking lot a small white car was waiting for me to leave it was a young guy and she was in the passenger seat, the guy looked me, flipped me off and speedway, I was speechless. This was unnecessary behavior and so unprofessional. I don’t care if this is a thrift store. You are a manager...
Read moreStaff and supervisors are rude. Also, thanks for letting me leave with a disappointed 4 year old who finally found her Halloween costume that we have been coming in there almost every day since September 1st to try and find. YOUR employee failed to sticker a costume, so I get it taken away and told I can't purchase it?! According to your policy if it's non clothing items, and there isn't a price tag it goes back, however, this was an article of clothing you wear, yet I still have to see my little girl heartbroken. We used to love coming here and shopping together and I have spent a lot of money doing so and now I have to explain that our mom and daughter thrift store day is no longer going to happen because I will not be coming back. I donatesd so much stuff there. You have gotten greedy with prices and the costumer service is awful. So disappointing for a store that's supposed to help those who do need to find items at THRIFT store prices.
I also want to add that the woman supervisor who was called was extremely unprofessional and rude and I wonder if this is the same lady I see so many other saying has flipped them off and yet shes still working...
Read moreThe fitting rooms closing were the nail on the coffin of this place. It's annoying that they did, but just about every Goodwill in Idaho has made the same decision at this point. This Goodwill in particular also needs to work on several things. Every time I come in, like other reviews say, it's a negative environment immediately. It feels like you're doing the employees a disservice just by being there. There are a few nice employees, like the two men who work up front on occasion, but everyone else I've talked to is either condescending or not polite. I used to come multiple times a week and now I come maybe once every 6 months if that. It's not worth the overpriced goods, bad return policy, bad customer service, and inability to try things on to visit often. Also like said previously, other Goodwills also have no fitting rooms and overpriced items. The Goodwill locations in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls are much better than here, even with the same policies. It's not as much those that are the problem, but more the feeling of dread right as...
