Scratch Meats — Local services in Portland

I happened across Scratch Meats at the Oregon City Farmers’ market and purchased the chicken brats and chicken chorizo. My hubby was excited to enjoy the brats so he fired up the flat griddle and we charred some peppers and onions to go wit’! Those brats were so flavorful and fresh! There are four to a pack and my hubby ate two. I’m looking forward to having a breakfast burrito with the chorizo sausage!! We’ll be looking for Scratch Meats again to try the other flavors! ...

Great selection of sausage. Good for walk-ins, but don't expect to sit down. The selection for individuals is better, e.g. most of their menu, because they post sold out on items in the online menu when they go below availability for a commercial order. I got meatball and French garlic, which are both listed as sold out. I've had their morcilla, which was as good as in Barcelona. This is a great neighborhood resource for extraordinary sausage. ...

This is the third time we've purchased Scratch Meats sausages and it was last time that we vowed to only buy our sausages from them as long as we're in Portland! With the variety they provide, there will always be something new to try. But we have our favorites, like the Heart, Garlic, Wine, which we'll return to many times.
