Great addition to the neighborhood. We went for dinner, it was busy and there was a scene outside even though like many Portland establishments it hasn't found a way to get strangers to talk to each other. From the same owners that started Saraveza on Killingsworth, This place knows what it's doing and the bar food theme this time is New Orleans. We ordered the radicchio Caesar: it was pretty generous and tasted healthy. Could have used more anchovy and some more lemon so that the taste could have been a little deeper and more zingy. The fried green tomatoes on top were excellent. We also ordered the catfish po boy and it was quite good. Not $6 from a gas station in New Orleans, but had the same kind of authentically crunchy flaky, fried catfish on the correct type of bread with shaved lettuce. Well done. We also ordered the nut pesto and aioli mac and cheese which was very tasty. Quite a dense pasta and properly cheesy, although I would have liked it better if they had chosen a sharper cheese. They were generous with the pesto. As always (We get this a lot here), the truly stand out dish here was the properly fried broccoli with a lime crema underneath. An excellent dish and very much worth it's price. The disappointing dish was the buffalo wings: They were fried about half as long as it's necessary to have any kind of good crunch and proper texture, especially if you want that texture to endure being tossed in hot sauce. I also could barely taste any butter in the sauce. I heard more than a year ago that they were going to turn the back bar formerly known as the tiny bubble room in the old establishment into some kind of sushi bar or something cool. It appears to still just be a storage space. I wish they could at least have a little bar back there that felt intimate and had a DJ or something time to time.

A couple of times I passed by this bar/restaurant and finally when I viewed the web site, the pictures in side and out side looked very interesting. The menu looks amazing, I had to try this place out! Went in on a Saturday and sat out on the patio, very nice area and clean, the waitress said it was open seating and the menu is on the QR code on the table. I had already decided what I wanted, ordered the Czech Pils and it tastes so good! For an appetizer I ordered the Fried Green Tomato sliders but request no bun which the waitress said “not a problem”. The basil pesto aioli was so good. I am not one for raw onions but these pickled red onions were great. Fried green tomatoes were actually my first time ever eating and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Next ordered the Pimento burger with no bun, this is were things changed, the hamburger patty was so over cooked and thin that some of the beef was crunchy. The pimento cheese is made in house along with the red pepper habanero jelly and both were delish! I substituted and had house made Cole slaw which was so good! I did order gumbo and jambalaya with chicken and sausage to take to my elderly mother as a to go. When I got the food home to her she opened each container and each order was amazing! I will defiantly go back and order something else on the menu and I am sure that I will enjoy the food and beer and this great bar/restaurant! I have found a new place to worth going back too!

The Tiny Bubble Room is easy to find with decent parking in back right off N. Lombard. Terrific casual atmosphere & we were greeted immediately during Happy Hour. The inside is dimly lit & nice but we chose to sit outside where you can choose between a number of picnic tables or the storage container booths with graffiti decor. Dogs are allowed in the outside seating. Settled in to our outside booth where Jen met us with a warm greeting & exemplary service. She attended to our every request, answered questions & checked on us frequently to ensure we were happy & needed for nothing. Best customer service I've received in a very long time. Shout out to Jen ☺️ The food... oh the food! Having dined in Southern states like Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama we know authentic Cajun/Creole food & we weren't disappointed. Everything from the Roasted Cauliflower to the Red Beans & Rice with homemade cornbread & sweet cream butter, Spicy Mac n Cheese, Blackened Shrimp & Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was as good as you'll ever get outside the South. Happy Hour menu has great bargains but order off the main menu for satisfying down South home cooking comfort cuisine. 5/5, 10/10 no matter how you rate. I highly recommend this foodie gem!

Been coming here for a few years, always solid food, solid service and a solid beer list. When all else fails, this is where we go.

However, this evening we had a terrible service experience. Whoever the guy is with blonde hair, shaved sides, and a ponytail was horrendous. We sat ourselves then ordered a couple beers and an app. One of the beers he brought us was wrong, but we drank it anyway. We watched another party of two come in, bus a dirty table themselves, then seat themselves. After ten minutes of not being checked in on, they walked inside and ordered their beers from the bar. Meanwhile, we finished our app with no check in, then waited another 20 mins with no check in from our server. We planned on ordering more food, but at that point we were over it. It had been 30 mins since we’d seen or hear from our server. Thankfully we caught the food runner on the patio and were able to close out with her.

If management reads this, the server I’m describing has some serious issues in terms of professionalism. Not only was he inattentive, but he was wildly obnoxious. We could hear him inside the restaurant from the patio. He was loud, profane, and ill-mannered. This is not at all the level of service we’ve come to expect from this place. We will be back hoping that this was an isolated incident, but if we see him on site, we will leave...
