Mousetrap Tavern — Restaurant in Portland

First thing I noticed when walking in there was that Megadeth was playing in the back ground, and continued to play awesome old school heavy metal,….slayer came on, Iron Maiden, Megadeth again, few people, not crowed, not overly blaring . Just a cool stashed away bar. I’m hoping they’ll be keeping the station or playlist they have going, metal rules❣️wheel chair accessible, and felt safe in and out of the tavern, has Oregon video lottery machines, at least 1 pool table that I could I spy that people were enjoying. Parking is on street which can be a little tight to move around and find a spot, right off the 75 bus line, can’t wait to go again and find out more about what it has...

Edit:. I used to like this place more but, and I do not say this lightly, I am pretty sure they are selling fake booze.

Their liquor does not taste right. I don't get mixed drinks and I don't buy well shots, and it does not taste right.

Also, when a bottle was replaced, the bar tender went in back, and came back out with the new bottle already open with the pour spout in it. I've nearly always watched a bar tender open a new bottle in front of me the when one goes empty.

This is a pretty cool neighborhood bar! The video poker room is usually full, which generally means there is more payouts. The bartender that usually works Sunday nights is really cool and always has a very positive attitude, actually I'm not sure if she works every Sunday but the couple of times she has served us she has been super cool and helpful, doesn't seem to get stressed out like other bartenders tend to do. I had the burger there and it was pretty good, I reccomend this place for good drinks, food...
