Capitol Nails — Attraction in Portland

UPDATE: I got fed up with my nails constantly being filed down to nothing but pink on top and decided to start doing my own Gelish manicures at home. You can get everything on Amazon for about $120, the cost of about 3 manicures. I've never been happier! There's not a single decent nail salon in the SW Portland/Tigard area and I have tried them all!

The people there are really nice and consistently do a good job. Sometimes it takes really long though so make sure you're not too pressed for time!

I came last December 2017 and did an acrylic with glow in the dark powder. 3 days later it starts coming off so I called the store if they could do anything about it, so they want me to come in to the store for them to look at it, they even said they might charge me for the repair. what?! So I made a trip hoping that they would fix it for me, Instead of fixing it they just put a glue underneath the acrylic nail!! the lady even said I shouldn't choose long nails cos it won't last long. This is ridiculous! Day later after she glued my nails, I was so frustrated I just took it all off. $55 went into a garbage for nothing!! I've been doing acrylic for so many years and this is the first place that I had a really bad quality and service. NEVER GOING BACK...

I’ve been here many times and always receive a quality service! I have had gel manicures, pedicures, and dip done by multiple of their providers and am happy each time. They put time into each guest and have excellent communication. I’ve recently been struggling with sensitivity on one of my toes but was in desperate need of a pedicure at 8 months pregnant and unable to do it myself - they were incredibly gentle and cautious not to cause further irritation.
