This is where one can buy asian vegetables like bitter gourd, varieties of brinjals and green chillies, ladies fingers (okra) and drumsticks (moringa), long beans and other greens. I go to Namaste bazzar to buy Curry Leaves. This is one place that always has Curry leaves. They have all asian spices (red chillie, tumeric powder, condiments and indian masala) pre-packed.
(They do not have Pandan leaves though. Try Lily market few blocks away, to buy frozen pandan leaves. )
They also have variety of Arnotts products (Australia) like Tim Tam, shortbread biscuits (cookies). Powdered milk and Milo and Nido are available here.
They also have a selection of frozen fish. They are very similar to salt water fish you find in Indian ocean. The Store staff are really good in accommodating if you only want to buy a few fish and not the pre-packaged bag.
The store has a section serving Indian food and another section with traditional clothing.
These are items I usually shop. There are many other indian snacks, grains, canned fish (Jack Mackerel) and...
Read moreI love this store but on my last visit here my husband and I were treated very rudely by the cashier on 08/31/23 around 8:10PM. My husband and I were discussing the kulfi that was by the counter and I picked a flavor. She said âyou need to listen to him or he wonât open up his wallet.â My husband told her that I work and make money and that I am paying. But then she said âyeah you work and give her money.â And I told her that was inappropriate especially at work. The worker said âno.â I am saddened to her such biased view points from a worker in this store. I will still return. I just hope this review can help people know that love has no color to interracially married people. By the way, the kulfi ice cream was 10/10 đ...
Read morePretty good selection, kind of a grim vibe. There was a kid at one of the tables of the mini-restaurant at the front of the store. Not looking away from her phone when I entered, she said "Food or grocery?" Since I was the only other person there, I though what she said might have been directed at me. "Grocery," I replied. She continued with what she was doing with the phone without another word. Not sure what she would have done of I'd said "food" but I can't imagine that it would have been done with much enthusiasm. When I was done shopping, I went to the cash register. Phone kid eventually noticed me and left the table to ring me up. I could tell that she believed that each item I was purchasing that day was specifically chosen to make her suffer. We were both glad when I left. Hard to know who...
