Furniture Plus — Hotel in Portland

Firstly, I’m going to address someone else’s review in which they complained that there is a limited stock and they were asked to “look on the website” and the parking

Here’s the thing this is a SMALL BUSINESS. Not a huge chain store, of course it cant have hundreds of couches in stock. But they will beat any price I can guarantee you that. If you look at a couch online and try it in a big store like Ashley furniture and then order it through furniture plus you will absolutely receive the lowest price.

As for the parking, what place in Portland doesn’t have less than ideal parking arrangements? There’s off street parking as well as a back alley where atleast 4 cars can park parallel. To me this is such a small issue in retrospect to paying HUNDREDS of dollars less.

Okay now to my experience. My friend purchased a couch through furniture plus and they were able to get it delivered within a week to the store. I went to her house and fell in love with it so of course I had to ask them if they had another in stock. Well just my luck another one was delivering the next day, so I went immediately and claimed it.

The owner is awesome and it was a hassle free experience. I’ve dealt with other places in the past which feel so “sales-y” this was a completely different experience.

My husband and I lucked out when this place came up as a nearby furniture store as we were searching for a new couch. It's a small store so they don't have a ton in the showroom but it didn't matter. Omar was super friendly and helpful. He asked us what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect sectional in one of his catalogs. He gave us a quote and we were surprised at the low price. Omar told us that his prices would be much lower than other stores but doesn't every salesman say that? We wanted to see the couch in person, of course, before ordering so Omar directed us to the nearest Ashley store to see if they had it or something similar. After visiting Ashley and seeing that the exact same couch there was $700 more (yes, $700!), we called and placed an order with Furniture Plus. Jon took the order and he was just as nice to work with. We picked up our couch today (delivery wasn't an option because we live 100 miles away) and Omar helped us load it into our pickup. He even offered us an extra set of straps to ensure we would get it home safely. I really can't say enough about how genuinely nice and pleasant this guy is. I want to shout out to Omar and his team at Furniture Plus! My bf and I have recently bought a sectional from them and we have leveraged their delivery partner Lugg to deliver it to our home. Unfortunately, the pieces are too big to go through our doorway and get to our second-floor living room. We have to contact Furniture Plus and Omar has been extremely helpful! He helped me to know what I should measure to figure out the dimension of our hallway and brainstorm with me for potential solutions. In addition, he has suggested me his friend who owns a moving company can potentially help me move the sofa through our balcony with a way more seasonal price than some moving companies on the market. In addition, he has also offered us potentials of other sectionals/ love seats and kind enough to offer to help us move the sectional back to the store.

Omar and his team are really good communicators and they helped us through this process professionally and calmly. You feel you have someone for your back and they are reliable. With their help, we now have a sofa in our living room! I can't suggest this place more for you to purchase furniture from them.
