The Peninsula Park Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, is a photographer's paradise! I had the pleasure of capturing wedding portraits here, and every corner of the garden was a dream come true! The vibrant, blooming florals provided a stunning, colorful backdrop, while the lush greenery created a serene, romantic atmosphere. The light filtering through the trees and the picturesque paths gave us endless opportunities for breathtaking shots. Read moreThis is one of the largest sunken rose gardens in the US. It has a nice fountain as the centerpiece but this time of year (October) there is not much to see, all the roses have lost their flowers and the leaves from the trees in the park litter the park grounds. Peninsula park also has a community center with a pool and a nice playground for kids, a place to walk your dog, and picnic areas. I got married in the rose garden when it was in full bloom and it was spectacular. Wonderful place for family's, couples, anyone who loves roses and nature and picnics...

During the early part of June, the roses and flower beds in this park are in bloom. The fragrance is intoxicating. You can bring a picnic lunch or a coffee and find a spot in the garden to take in the beauty. The fountain and gazebo are popular destinations in the park. On street parking is available.
