I moved to Portland from Atlanta several years ago, and had stopped making much Ethiopean food because I couldn’t find a good place to buy injera made with 100% teff flour. Well, I stopped by here today looking for shiro and berbere. They had it and some other Ethiopean herbs and spices I use as well. The store is small, but it has everything I would have needed to make any Ethiopean dish. The lady running the store was very kind and happy to answer any questions I had. Aside from her sketchy business practices, everyone in town seems to know her personal business which is not cool. Please check receipts and be sure that what you’re ordering is indeed fresh.
