Planet Fitness — Attraction in Portland

These people are so unprofessional I'm fuming. Tuesday August 13, around 8:30pm. I go to the gym today the same way I have been doing for what 25 years and there are two girls sitting on their phones on the only two shoulder press machines. After waiting a good amount of time I softly ask are you done with these? She pulls her earbud from her ear and looking all annoyed says well if you want them so badly, I said it's a simple question I might ask it from anyone, she said how rude I said no I have a life. It's a simple question, yeah I'm done here you go, or no I have another set, or whatever.

Anyways, they move on with their workouts and I continue mine. On the way out the guy working there pulls me over and says there are complaints about you being aggressive. For asking are you done. Three words. Ok so what now he says next time come tell us. So wait a minute now every time someone is sitting at a machine doing nothing I have to go call this guy over? It happens a million times every day at every gym and I say hey dude are you done? Yeah? Cool thanks. Or no I have two more sets. Or whatever. Simple. But now I'm standing there and this guy is chastising me for being aggressive. So I come for a simple workout now I'm having all these nonsense discussions with people who expect me to bend over backwards because of their dysfunctions.

Anyhoo I tried to cancel my membership and going to contact my bank to make sure no further payments from my account are debited to these people. Super ruined my day. 24 Hour Fitness...

I HAD TO USE THE RESTROOM, AND WAS YELLED AT AND TGE ENTIRE GYM WAS STARING AT ME WHERE 2 “EMPLOYEES” CALLED ME NAMES, WHILE I WAS TRYING TO FIND MY CARD.

Ive been a member for a few years and I am canceling my membership as soon as possible. Two weeks ago I had to urgently use the restroom at this location and I was asked for my membership card on the way in and I told them that I am a member, but I needed to go to the bathroom or else I was going to pee my pants. When I came out the employee behind the desk was on the phone with the police to trespass me. I explained to her that I needed to go to the bathroom. At that point, she’s just started to yell at me to get out and another employee started to yell at me to get out and he kept saying it over and over again and all I was doing was trying to get in my phone to give them proof that I was a member. I did contact the manager Lidia and told her that Fiona and another coworker was horrible to me. Lidia did not even apologize. She said that they just need training. And the other employee was already fired for another reason. I have obtained an attorney and I’m going to be filing soon and when I asked for information to where I could have my attorney send the paperwork Lidia refused to give me any information and hung up the phone on me. I will be canceling this membership and getting a membership for the same price at 24 hour fitness where they also have a sauna and amazing other benefits, including nice humans...

These people are morally bankrupt.... they charged me 10 dollars per month the 1st two months and then 49.00 for a year. They employee who said his name was lorenzo laughed and said that i obviously didnt read the fine print.... like the part on the website where it says no ling term obligations. He said charging for a year was part of the 10 dollar a month promo. Bank of america told me they have daily problems with this company and they just change their name to something like abc planet fitness and try to re charge you monthly... 49.00. Im calling the better business bureau and also cancelling my card to keep em from charging me 49 bucks a month. Im gonna write some shiny yelp reviews and anywhere else i can. The employee lorenzo... or thats what he called himsrlf laughed and said that i didnt read the fine print. There is a special place in hell for your company.... I disputed the charge at bank of America and won the case. Just show em their website where it's says "no long term commitment".
